They really don’t tell you need this. But it’s recommended if your router is not right next to the ring doorbell. Sounds like a extra money grab but it’s needed.

I have everything ring and it seemed like this chime would solve an issue I was having with a cam. Just an overpriced solution. Buy a WiFi extender and save the money.

The chime works but the WiFi extender is useless and does not improve the signal of the doorbell at all, not one bit. Nothing

It seem to help in beginning of boosting WiFi signal to ring doorbell but now still have to reboot router every 4 or 5 days

I have a Ring Doorbell and a Ring Floodlight. Both get average to below average wifi signals so I bought this to boost reception. Very disappointed. First, not sure why people would by this since it ONLY works with Ring products. Wifi extenders serve the same purpose and are cheaper. The only reason to buy this is if you need the doorbell feature. I plugged this in to an outlet within 10 feet of my Ring doorbell. The increase in reception was disappointing. Not much better so I returned it.

Works great when it doesn't lose wifi signal. Or maybe its just my ring camera that loses signal, either way it's annoying when they lose signal and don't work

My original intent was to hear my ring chime throughout my house. Check. Then I was like, oh how nice would it be to extend the WiFi too. No Check. I had my ring security cameras attached to my chime pro but I kept getting dropped signals and long wait times to even see a live feed. Since then I have connected the cameras straight to my router and I have had no issues. In the end, probably save yourself the $10 and get the chime without the extender.

It has helped the signal strength to my ring doorbell but I still have problems sometimes. The doorbell will say poor connection and the extender is about 30 feet away.

I purchased this to extend wireless signal which helps but is always disconnecting not as good as I thought it would be . Ring camera only 40ft from router

Purchased as a recommendation for improving WiFi signal to cameras but it does not no matter where we place it. Works for alerting camera activation.

This product works OK. I haven’t seen much improvement in the Wi-Fi connections since using it. I’m actually disappointed with it.

Extends WiFi for ONLY the ring doorbell nothing else. I wouldn’t buy this again if you asked, a WiFi mesh system will actually benefit your household. This device feels like a gimmick and only works in the best WiFi conditions. It’s also a pain to set up. I give it 2/5 stars because it still does the intended job, but you’re better off with a WiFi mesh system to benefit ALL devices in your home

Works OK. but discovered I did not need it after getting a new box from Verizon to extend my wife throughout the house.

Really didn’t see much of a difference. Says it boosts WiFi but continues to work the same. Other than that now my wife can hear it when I’m not home.
