It was installed right in the middle between router and doorbell,which router is only 20ft. away from doorbell to begin with. Just buy a very powerful router to get better resolution and response time.

Don’t Bother

The Chime dropped the signal strength from -42 to -38. Pretty much useless. The netgear extender in the same spot dropped the signal street to -17. Now that is noticeable. I returned the Chime.
