However , we have had many problems with the chime losing the WiFi network and unfortunately we bought the unit for my parents who are very NON-Technical. Remote reset just isn't a possiblity so it leads to a lot of frustations for my parents till one of can come reset it each time.

And although my Ring Video is connected to this, it takes a while for the camera to get connected and then the video quality is not good.

I'm sorry to hear this! Your Ring device should hold a stable connection. How far is your device from your router? We recommend no farther than 25 ft, but the closer the better!

Did not improve or amplify my WiFi signal at all.

Placed about 25 feet from the WiFi source around one corner of an interior wall and the Ring Camera is about 20 feet away through one exterior brick wall.
