I love what the Chime does when it works. However , we have had many problems with the chime losing the WiFi network and unfortunately we bought the unit for my parents who are very NON-Technical. Remote reset just isn't a possiblity so it leads to a lot of frustations for my parents till one of can come reset it each time.

Hi CUSteve217,
Oh no, I am so sorry to hear about this less than excellent Ring experience. I would, however, appreciate the chance to connect with you directly so that I can investigate why your Ring Chime is not working consistently for you. Would you please email me at Kaitlyn.rosenthal@ring.com?
I would appreciate your time.

The Chime has a RSS of 53 which is good but my Ring doorbell has a RSS of 70 which is not good no matter how close I put the Chime to the Ring doorbell, if I change the doorbell to my home wifi I get an RSS of 63 so the Chime does not extend my signal to the doorbell like it was supposed to

I was disappointed after purchasing this accessory to find out it does absolutely nothing for me or am I smart devices. I have Wi-Fi boosters throughout my two story home as well as the fastest Internet speed offered, and yet this product would not sync or work with my items.

This Ring Pro is okay when it works. Sometimes it would show it's disconnected from my Wifi. And although my Ring Video is connected to this, it takes a while for the camera to get connected and then the video quality is not good.

Hi akp357,
I'm sorry to hear this! Your Ring device should hold a stable connection. How far is your device from your router? We recommend no farther than 25 ft, but the closer the better!
I'd like to take a closer look at your Ring Pro and Chime Pro. Would you kindly reach out to me at marynell@ring.com, so we can find the best resolution for you? I'd appreciate your time and looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks, Mary Nell J., Neighbor Satisfaction Specialist marynell@ring.com
