Disappointing and didn't last long

I bought the Ring Wi-Fi extender and it really did not make much difference in the connection to my outdoor camera. I got a Wi-Fi extender from my Internet provider for 49.99 and it made a big difference. And then after about 7 months the Ring Wi-Fi extender/chime went dead. I didn't save the box, so I cannot take it back. It was a total waste of money. I would not recommend it to anyone.

No Difference

Same experience with the second one in that there was no difference in the poor Wi-Fi signal of my cameras. What did make a difference was paring my RING devices with my GOOGLE mesh Wi-Fi and it boosted the signal significantly. I tried the RING Chime Pro in several different areas of my home with no results.

Doesnt work with xfinity

Speeds were 250mbps. Called Ring’s customer service and they walked me through the same steps the instructions did. They blamed the ISP. Googled the issue and its a common problem with Ring and Xfinity routers. Cameras and standard door chime connect without issue, but this would not. Returned it.
