It helps me to have proper service with wifi as I have multiple devices that requires that. I bought 3 of these items because I wanted to have my ring cameras and doorbell to feed off the ring chime pro. Make sure you place this product to an outlet that is close enough to the product that will feed off of it to get proper signal.

It was placed about 20' from the WiFi and the camera was an additional 15' to 20'. And it was used on an extremely fast network. All the Ring devices where extremely slow to open whenever we needed them most.
