Got the extender because having issues with signal strength. It helped quite a bit.

I have a ring doorbell at my second home out in the country. I needed a Wi-Fi signal booster for it and this works great.

I installed initially with a primary router to the doorbell ring device setup. It was off and on and off line a lot due to intermittent loss of wifi connection. I went back and got this device. It is plugged in about midway between router and door bell and has not been off line yet (a couple of months).. It also doesnt show up on the list of wifi sources (from my neighborhood list) on my smart phone..

Bought with ring doorbell to utilize Wi-Fi extension. My Wi-Fi is not great and this chime with Wi-Fi extender greatly enhanced strength of signal. Wi-Fi connectivity has not been an issue ( not lost Wi-Fi connection), and chime sound and volume is great. Works great with ring doorbell. I would absolutely recommend this combo chime/extender. Excellent product.

I knew I was going to need my wi-fi signal increased to cover the front door, and I wanted a sound to alert me of motion and a back up doorbell if my wi-fi was offline. This handled those issues perfectly. You can set different rings for motion and/or ringing; if in the rare instance my wi-fi signal is moody, my regular doorbell still rings. If I could make one request, it would be to have a few more motion/ring selections. Otherwise, this is a well thought out, wonderful device, I'm glad I bought it!

Bought it and immediately installed it. Took less than 5 minutes to install and has not stopped working since.

I bought the chime mostly to get the traditional door bell sound throughout the house instead of only phone notifications. Works perfectly in that sense but have had a few issues with the wireless extension capabilities for my Doorbell cam. Nothing too serious just lack of discoverability at time. IT might be due to my home as well so only one star off. Great product overall and would recommend.

Excellent for those hard to reach out of place locations in the home. Easy setup and connection.
