My house isn’t large at all but I followed directions and put the extended in the hallway between the WiFi router and the doorbell and I have been having a really hard time with it staying connected to my WiFi. I really like the different ring tones though

Initially fine, then started going offline.

Then I started getting frequent off-line errors and then it finally quit altogether. No pulsing light no set up ability. I’ll buy another one since it goes with the ring system and hope for better quality.

Didn’t really improve video quality

Before purchasing the Chime Pro, the video doorbell 2 reported it’s connection was ‘ok.’ After installation all connections report as ’good’, but that hasn’t fixed the freezing video.
