Does the job...

WiFi was a little weak at front door for the Ring video doorbell cam 2 so purchased this and it did the job ... also acts as a chime which you have various ring tones to choose from..

Chime Pro Extender Works

This gives a stronger signal and mostly took care of it. Wish it had an option to turn light on it down or off, but not a deal breaker. I think a regular wifi extender would be just as good if you don't care about hearing the ring tone from the device.
