I was given the name of another WiFi extender and purchased it from amazon. Best Buy did not have that one in stock.

It gives service to my ring, but all this depends on the strength of your Wi-Fi router and how far your extending. When I set it up it displayed the signal strength was "okay." So, it works well overall , but depending on your own Wi-Fi

The antenna's are a bit flimsy so they can easily break off which will mess up the setup. I have bought at least 2 of these things after 1 of my kids broke it. Fifty bucks is steep for these things too.
