After so much trouble I bought this to see what I needed to make my ring products work. The chime works well. However, I found out that Ring products conflict with special characters in your SSID. After figuring that out, I took it back. No issues at all with Chime, just didn't need it.

It rings to phone, tablets and pc’s just fine, but they are not always on. Needed a chime too. This one works great. Adjustable ring volume and tones for doorbell and motion alerts. Had an intermittent WiFi signal without the extender, now have a strong connection all the time.

Didn't even fit into outlet

And my luck, it settled in the "wonky" position, instead of level, for all you OCD people out there. Straight shot (less than 15' from Ring Doorbell, no interior walls for interference, just the exterior wall, which has a big glass door) and directly under the the wifi router itself (on the first floor, router on 2nd) and I was still getting a 'signal too poor' from Doorbell. Ring people suggested I use 2. I ended up using a standard network router (more costly, which is why I considered the Chime in the first place). At least it has the added bonus of also extended the whole wifi network to all devices, unlike the Chime which just extends to the Ring doorbell. I returned it. Love the Ring Doorbell and Security Camera, not the Chime Pro.
