My ring door bell is quite far from my wireless router so I needed this extender. I love that it also chimes loudly and has different sounds to trigger anyone who is in our motion zones. I've been using it for a month and so far it has been working fine with no problems.

Sound is good, i just didn't feel like it's extending the wifi signal? It's set up a few feet away from my door but there still a lag on the camera viewing or recording.

Set up was easy. Ringer works great with the system.

Easy to install, plug and play with minimum setup.

Haven’t really noticed marked improvement in quality of signal to ring doorbell. I’ve tried moving it closer to the doorbell but it only improved the signal strength a few points.

Both is thinking that my ring doorbell connection was not working too well. Call the company when I was having problems they told me my connection was better without it in with it.

I bought this Ring Chime Pro Wi-Fi Extender because we couldn't get our Ring Doorbell Pro to connect to our Wi-Fi, even though it recognized the signal, the Wi-Fi router is just a few feet from the doorbell, and our older Ring had worked with it. The rep on the Ring Help Line pretty much guaranteed that this unit would solve the problem. It didn't. Turned out that we had to select our weaker "guest" signal, which doesn't work with any other device and works the same for Ring with or without the Extender. Could have saved the money, but I'm keeping the Extender just in case we have problems later.

Different chimes, easy set up... I love the ring..!

This is a necessity in a multi story home. Boosted internet connection to an outdoor cam and light. We are so pleased with the entire Ring system we bought. An inexperienced person familiar with app concept can get it running. We are seeing animals we do not desire to know are around.

Nothing to Fancy here. Sadly it's a bit quiet, wish I could adjust volume up more or even down if it were too loud. It seems to do what it says it does, but as a door bell it's nothing great.

Great product! Very useful device that connects with the Ring camera. Connectable throughout the entire house and in any space of your choice that is convenient for you. I recommend purchasing this item with your ring camera if you prefer to not use your existing, wired doorbell.

I have this set up at both of my homes. I enjoy the extra security of knowing the home is protected and the ease of speaking to people when we are in the backyard or the pool and not missing them. It’s great!! This really helps with the distance of communication and connection.

This item was a necessary extra expenditure to use the video cam. The only reason I rated both a 4 instead of 5, is they should have been packaged together for convenience since basic unit didn’t work without this booster.

I purchased this to amplify my wifi signal because I have a larger house; however, I will also need to buy a range booster because it still shows poor wifi signal. All this even though my phone picks up wifi all throughout the house.

The extender only extends other Ring devices unlike a standard Wi-Fi extender so keep that in mind. If your looking to boost your Wi-Fi for other devices like your phone, this is not what you need. It is good in areas where you can't hear the doorbell. I have a good RSSI signal to this unit from my Wi-Fi router but it disconnect from the Ring doorbell about once every couple of weeks and I have to manually reconnect it which is somewhat of a hassle.

This item works great but it seems like the Ring pro wouldn’t work without the Ring Pro range extender. These companies keep trying to make more money off you from a product that should work alone. Works as advertised though.

I tried the Ring Chime first to see if it would provide notification without putting a burden on the Ring camera. The WIFI signal just wasn't sufficient to dependably provide notification for my front yard. After adding the Ring Chime Extender the system works as I envisioned it should. Kudos.

Recently loss the wifi connection after being connected in the same place for a year. Had to move to different area of home to connect. Don't know if it's the chime pro or my wifi.

Bought a ring doorbell. Was hoping I could get it to work with the original system. Thought that was a possibility. Never got that to work so I had to get a bell. It's been an awesome update.

I'm disappointed in the ring system overall. The original doorbell would not send the tone and image at all initially. It is located about six feet from the modem through a brick wall. I put this extender about 15 feet from the doorbell and the modem with only moderate improvement. It has taken several minutes to get the signal to my phone and it doesn't always make a sound on my iPhone when it arrives. I have that problem with other notifications, so it could be the iPhone.
