I bought this Ring Extender because my Ring doorbell was seriously lagging in sending notifications. I was hoping that, based on research, that placing the extender in a place between the router and front door (same floor) it would solve the problem. Even though the lag time between movement and notification did improve a bit, it’s still not immediate. The mailman can drop something off at the door, ring the bell, and already be back on the way to his truck when the notification comes through. One plus is that we now hear the doorbell chime inside the house.

A lot of money, for a little difference! But it does help and I needed the extra strength... And it did give a little more, but not a lot and just enough to make it barely worth the money!!!

Excelent product plug and st ring to your customers setting and walls working on all intended procedures as it claims very good took care of my distant problem with my lanai back door cam not working stable it's awesome now highly recommend...

We tried another camera and alarm series and did not do what we wanted and was not clear videos or pictures at all. Then we tried Ring, in my opinion the best there is for the price and we sleep a lot better knowing how well it works!

This device was needed more for the chime then the extender, but while adding more devices, again on battery power, will prove its worth. Alerts come in clear and seems to extend the signal for the one connected device. We will see when I add a few more.

Customers should be asked if they are in an area where problems with WiFi and if that's the case then the Ring Extender is highly recommended. The sad thing though is sometimes the Ring doesn't pick up "deliveries" being dropped since the person doesn't ring the door bell.

I didn't find this product useful. I actually returned it and got a Netgear Wifi extender that worked better. I thought because it was "Ring"

I have very much enjoyed the Ring Doorbell system. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the sensors seem a little off and I sometimes don't get the alert until the last minute.

What more can I say. If you have the Ring device, you need this What more can I say. It performs as advertised. It does extend the range and boosts the signal inside the house. And the chime you can hear thru-out the house.

Well, this works great with my Ring Pro 2. I can't complain. It lets us know when people ring the door bell, when people are near the door, when the leaves blow by the camera. (Yes, i still have some adjustments to make). All in all, it works perfectly.

We have very good WiFi in our house but the Ring doorbell still didn't perform as well as it should have. After plugging the Wi-Fi Extender in near the doorbell and setting it up it works much better now. Live View is almost immediate.

We recently moved into a smaller place & could not get our ring doorbell to work. Someone told us to buy the Ring Extender @ Best Buy & as soon as we plugged it in our doorbell started working It doesn't take much room on the outlet!

Good WiFi is essential for a functional Ring system...Ring is very sensitive to WiFi obstructions so I don't think it's rare to need one of these in even a moderate size home.

I purchased Ring Chime Pro WiFi Extender after I installed my Ring Pro doorbell and determined the audio was pretty choppy. I have a brick home which can weaken the signal to my door bell. I purchased the extender and plugged it into an outlet near the entrance to my home. The door audio is better than before so this seems like the best solution. A plus to this purchase is that you can link it to other chimes in the home which allows you to set the same chime tone throughout your home. This feature was fun to use during the holidays.

As far as the Chime for the ring it’s good. As for the WiFi extender it’s average. Don’t expect to get a big improvement on your WiFi coverage in large areas.

The equipment works great! No flaws. The problem is that it worked for about two years and stopped, and with no possibility of repair! This is the second device I'm buying.

This WiFi range extender is hit and miss. Sometimes it works flawlessly and other times it struggles to provide a strong enough signal to the camera.

I love my Ring Chime! My new home didn’t come with a doorbell, so I bought this to fill the gap. I like knowing when there is motion at my door and when someone rings the bell. I also love the sounds!! I chose turkeys for motion and dogs for ring!

Prior to installing the Chime Pro my WiFi signal was too weak too get video signal. Now I get a crisp color video and audio with all motion. The Chime was also easy to install.

This was a must to connect our wireless ring camera because we have a block style house. When the chime is disconnected the camera doesn't connect so definitely purchase this is you have a block home.
