If you have your own router then this will probably not be needed. I use the cable system and the WIFI is not dependable, the Ring Chime took care of that problem.

The Ring is great, especially when you live two stories up. You can see who rings the "doorbell" and talk to them without necessarily going downstairs....we love it. When you're out-of-town, you can see all the activity at your front door.......great product!

Great Add On for my Ring Floodlight as they work well together. Now I get alerts near my door as well as my phone when I'm in the house. It does depend on where you place it to improve your internet connection. The closer, the better.

This really helped with my ring door bell because my router was located in the back of the house and ring was having a problem connecting to the WiFi. But no more problems with that, connects very quickly with no issues.

I was having trouble getting my Ring Doorbell to turn on for Live View, and the information online said it was because it wasn't getting a strong enough Wi-Fi signal. I therefore bought this extender and have not had an issue since.

Needed the Chime Pro to connect to my stick up cam that was just out of WiFi range. The Chime Pro allowed it to connect to our WiFi and has a great connection now.

Does what it states, extends wireless network access to your Ring doorbell. Plugs into an outlet and setup was easy. As best I can tell, only Ring devices can connect to the extender, so don't expect it to improve your WiFi for your other wireless devices.

Works great paired with Ring Doorbell. Causes some issues with router but does what it states it does which is acts as a doorbell.

I haven’t used this as a WiFi extender, but it does announce when the doorbell is engaged. There is a slight delay from doorbell engagement to sound, but only a few seconds.

The Chime Pro helps when you have the Ring doorbell, as this is what actually gives you a doorbell noise in the home, many doorbell sounds to pick from which helps distinguish motion at the door or someone actually ringing the doorbell

I love the Ring Chime. While I thought the price was a little steep, it definitely enhances the Ring Doorbell. You can choose your chimes from a number of selections and it is not an intrusive accessory. You won’t even hardly notice it.

I have the regular chime and the chime pro. Since I have added the chime pro I am able to hear both ring whether I am up stairs or down in the basement. I love it I would definitely recommend The Ring system friends and neighbors!

Our existing wired doorbell chime was not loud enough. We placed this is our living room and this allows us to hear the doorbell much better. Also offers range extensions if needed.

Works great as a chime, but not as a WiFi extender. Every since I purchased ring doorbell, my WiFI cuts in and out. I thought it would help, but it does not.

Our Router is in the back of the house and the chime pro is towards the front....so we can have that better connection with the ring doorbell. Has a great selection of different things and connects to you system very easily.

The Ring Door Chime Plus is a definite needed add on for the Ring System. If you don’t have the chime you will not hear the doorbell if the phone is not around or on audible, especially if there are others in the house who wouldn’t have the Ring App.

Bought this extender mainly for the chime since the old doorbell was a battery operated system so we needed something new for inside the house in case our phones are not handy. Like the chime options and having different ones for motion and at the door.

We have an old ring stickup cam with solar power. We gave very poor reception due to our internet. This device boosts the signal so we now get reception all the time

Works as described. Would be five stars but there seems to be a large delay from the time the ring doorbell is pressed to the time you actually hear it.

Nice compliment to your Ring doorbell system. It chimes and has different alerts for when someone rings your doorbell. A volume control for the alerts and chimes would have been nice.
