I wasn't happy that I needed to go back to the store and purchase more equipment to get my ring doorbell to work. After I installed the ring device and booster I began to have issues with my internet service. IDK if I overloaded the network but internet was slow and then intermittent. I replaced the modem and now only 1 computer can get internet. all the rest of the ipads and computers are getting an error message from the router because its not communicating to the modem. wish I left well enough alone

This Chime Pro is a piece of junk!! I purchased it because I was told when you have poor WIFI connections to your Ring cameras this Chime Pro would help your cameras get a better reception yeah! right! for a short period of time it clicks off and on by it's self it really doesnt improve the Wi-Fi reception it actually takes forever to locate your cameras no matter how close you plug it up to your cameras from the inside of your house it still will tell you "I can't locate the device" when it is only a few feet away, then it started to confuse my whole Ring system and the cameras stop showing footage kept blinking from one crazy color to another and refuse to work even after I started the whole connection directions over an over, I got frustrated and just unplugged the Chime Pro disconnected it from my cameras and low!! and behold!! my cameras were back on and working great!! This is a waste of creation, a waste of time and a waste of money. This thing is more of a hindrance than a help.... don't waste your money on this just call Ring and let them update and trouble shoot your cameras for free and save your money... I gave this thing 2 stars because it did work fine for a short period of time when I first set it up then it went CRAZY!! and never looked back!! I did the SAME!!!

I bought this chime and placed it in the masterbedroom it was hard to hear the door bell from the distance where the room is located since is a big home now that I have the chime I hear whos at the door all the time

Have noticed a slight improvement. The spotlight camera seems to do a better job and does not disconnect as frequently. Might upgrade my WIFI to help.

The device has less network extension capability than comparable NetGear equipment but does have the "Chime" capability. The unit worked at first but after approx. 3 weeks has been unreliable. It was updated with some new features and that seems to have caused problems with both the Chime and Alert functions and the motion lights and ring doorbell pro. I've reconnected , reset etc. etc. to no avail. Dissatisfied at this point.

This WiFi extender works great if your Ring product is far from your modem/router. You can also have the extender respond with different alerts such as a doorbell chime, or a barking dog. Works for all Ring devices!

It was easy enough to set up with the WiFi and easy enough to pair with the doorbell. It turned out out WiFi was sending a better signal than this was so it wasn’t needed.

My connection to the ring video pro doorbell was pretty slow and sometimes wouldn’t connect. With this added it became much quicker to connect and the signal improved.

Easy add on but did not provide additional improvement to the signal from front door to the other indoor ring. It has more sound effect.

If using ANY of the Ting cam family this is a MUST to get clear videos, especially at night, no matter what type of wifi you have including powerline or a mesh.

This ring WiFi extender help me get a better signal for my outdoor ring camera. This is a must have device if you have multiple ring cameras.

Bought this to go along with my ring doorbell. This lets me hear if someone is coming to the house before they ring the door. I also use this as a way to hear if one of the grand kids goes by the pool without supervision.

I have an L shaped house and hear nothing in the back living room. Also don’t always have my phone next to me. So having this extra bell helps so much for us. Also helps when my mother babysits. She doesn’t hear very well.

Helped bring down the RSSI numbers (per Ring, the lower the better) to Ring door bell and security cameras. Like that you can select various sounds for door bell.

i got it to connect but signal was weaker i can see this working better if i could get it closer but did not work for me

I guess it does the job. I’m still having issues connecting and I’m not sure why, my home is not that big.

This Ring Doorbell chime is a much needed accessory for the Ring Video Doorbell, my wifi is strong but not strong enough apparently to work without this chime. When I got the chime the doorbell now works flawlessly.

Works great but set up was not easy for me. I recommend moving the chime as close to the doorbell you are connecting to for the initial setup.

I was trying to get my ring spotlight to work. Thought this range extender would work. It didnt matter how close I got it to the router, it didnt make any difference at all. I returned it.
