This was an excellent purchase. Now I know if someone rings the doorbell when I do not have my cell phone in the same room as I am. It even allows you a choice of ringtones! Hay

This device is needed if you want to be notified when someone approaches the Ring video door bell or if they actually ring it and you do not have your phone close by to notify you.

I need the WiFi extended to be more than what it currently serves. It isnt so good if you live on the 2nd floor and it won’t work on 5GHZ.

I added the extender thinking this would improve video quality however the RSSI remains at a 61. It's plugged into the wall behind the Ring door bell, my Fios wifi is not the issue. I've determined it has to be the block walls. I'm just disappointed that after spending more money on the extender my ring system remains less than acceptable

Had to remove most of the items using to router to get it to see the internet but once up and running it works as advertised.

Like the fact you can change the sound of your doorbell anytime you like. Would like to see more options added soon.

I’m very glad we purchased this as it’s warming up and there are a lot of people out and about. I’m able to keep track of who comes to my door. The video and sound are excellent

This is a great device when you are not near your phone or the front door. This chimes and allows you to hear anywhere in your home! So helpful and helps you feel more secure.

as I said in the subject, you would not regret this purchase if you are running battery connection. Never miss a RING ALERT when you're not near your phone.

Disappointed that RING, not Best Buy, didn't inform me that the contract for installation didn't include these. Still Best Buy = Excellant; product very good, Ring Company <> good!

While the chime pro definitely allowed us to hear the doorbell ring inside the house, can't say it really extended the wifi.

Have this set up as a chime and extender.. the chime is perfect .. not sure about the extender but great for small house

When I originally purchased the ring doorbell it would not stay connected. I purchased the ring chime wifi extender and now I have not had an issue with it disconnecting.

This product integrates with my ring doorbell pro and greatly decreases the lag time between my router and the doorbell

We love our Ring products and are very pleased that the antenna extends the coverage. We recommend it to anyone who has a large house or using the outdoor csmeras.

Some people were saying that it didnt increase their signal. I have been using for at least a month now and have no problems with my ring camera. Always connect and no lag.

Only a minimal overall increase in signal strength per the Ring App reports.

The Ring Chime Pro does extend the WIFI..and also lets me know when there is motion at the front and back of my home.

This should actually be included in the Ring package instead of being sold as a separate accessory because without it your household won't know someone is at the door, only the Ring account users would be notified. As a chime it functions fine but as a Wi-Fi Extender the product is terrible, actually decreasing the strength of our Wi-Fi so technical support advised us to bypass it.

Love the fact that I was able to purchase the Chime Pro. I like that you can adjust the type of ring you want to hear and that you sinply plug it in after programming it with your Ring.
