Oh no, I am so sorry to hear this, however, I am confident that I can help. Do you happen to know what your upload speed is? You can check by visiting www.bandwidthplace.com on your cell phone, and running a speed test right next to where your Ring Doorbell is installed. We also recommend running a speed test right next to your router and comparing the two speeds. Sometimes, even with high internet speeds, the connection isn't as strong at the front of the house. For best streaming performance, we recommend 2 Mbps upload and download speeds. If you reach out to me at [email protected], I can assist you with this.

I tried this in several outlets and never saw a real difference or boost to the signal strength. For the same price you can purchase an extender that works with all wi fi devices. This only extends wi fi for Ring devices. Nothing else.
