this is a great device that allows parents to keep track of internet usage and stay on track with app usage.

i got this so my son would learn to use his internet wisely. it monitors his activities and you can set a bedtime. sometimes the bedtime feature does not work and i see him online well past the time he should. dont know why this happens. but when it works my son gets to sleep at a good time.

That's what we kept hearing about the circle. I've got to admit it is extremely easy to set up and use. Take back your kids.

No more arguing about playing time or bed times. Circle was easy to set up and requires no maintenance.

Excellent for controlling where the kids are browsing, set up was a breeze, just turn off VPN first.

I looked at this device for months and read several reviews before I finally purchased it. It took minutes to get online, which was great. I took another hour to play with profiles for each family member and add devices to each profile. I can't say enough good things about this solution and how much easier it has made life with technology and children. Get it! Worth it! Love it!

Great product, easy to use. It's nice to have some security around what and when my kids can do and see on the internet.

Great product for letting you know how much time is spent on electronics and specifically what app or website. Only downfall is it doesn’t block the internet when the time limit has been reached. I thought it would do that.

This was exactly what we needed to control our kids' internet usage. It was easy to set up and never goes down.

Easy to use and sets limits for my kids without me having to yell at them to turn off the electronics.

You can just set it and forget it, With this device there is no more arguing with the kids to get off their devices.

My wife and I believe that the circle is a good product and concept in theory but the application is challenging. It took some time to identify and then align all of the devices on our network to individuals in the family, but we were finally able to do it. The problem is with the application. It's not intuitive and for some reason, despite trying to set up the program that limits the amount of time, time of day and the days, it hasn't worked. Every time I try to call Circle customer support for help, they are not open. Essentially they are only open during regular business hours...which is when I'm not at home. I'm sure we'll eventually figure it out and we're both hopeful that I will eventually work. I do think that their app needs to be a lot more intuitive when you drill down into an individual's rights.

This is my miracle device! Has helped me so much in controlling how much and what content my kids have access to. It allows me to make sure they have only certain amount of time on the internet. It allows me to reward them and set bedtime schedules. Something that we should be able to do through our internet provider but unfortunately don't have the option too. I have recommended this to so many parents and they all love it.

it's amazing to see how many devices actually connected to the wifi! It's even better I can pause the internet and the whole home listens to me. lol

This device can be a bit buggy at times with blocking and unblocking apps (unfortunately you can set a schedule for all or none access, but you can't set a schedule for specific apps/sites, so those of us who have kids in virtual school, or ones that need to do homework on their pc without distractions are left to manually blocking and unblocking apps). Sometimes it works flawlessly, sometimes not so much. The custom filter option is also painfully buggy. If you need to add a specific website that isn't listed on the predefined list of stuff to block, you can add it with the custom filter. This sounds great until you need to turn off the filter for whatever reason (in our case, it's discord. It doesn't always need to be blocked, but when my son is working on school work, it does.) The button to "allow" or "block" is buggy in that if you click the next "allow" button in the list before the first has fully "saved" the new setting, the line will completely disappear and you have to add it all over again. (Good luck to you on remembering long or complex URL's!) Additionally, I had to have this device RMA'd with the manufacturer due to it repeatedly disconnecting or not staying connected to the app on my phone. The last nail in the coffin for me for this device was network speed. Because of the way this device works, all traffic on your network is routed through it. Unfortunately over wireless, it is PAINFULLY slow, and the suggested solution to make it faster is to plug it in via Ethernet. However, the Ethernet port is only 100Mbps. In the age of pretty much everything being gigabit as a standard, to see this device come out with a 100Mbps port is disappointing. Routing my entire network's traffic through a 100Mbps port was absolutely a no go. That being said....if you are looking for parental controls like this, I beg of you, GET A NETGEAR router that has Circle built in! I ended up replacing this nightmare with a Netgear Nighthawk, which runs MUCH faster, since it's actually using gigbit ports and the filter is integrated into the router. Not a single slowdown since I did this.

Would highly recommend this product! Easy to use and set up.

Really, to help my kids better use their devises, this is a great product. My one challenge is that since connecting (a simple process) the devise, my router regularly now has issues needing us to reboot it to connect. Not sure if circle caused the problem, but the timing seems suspect.

Just based on other reviews, I haven't noticed much difference in WiFi speed. It works great and my kids hate it! So I guess it is doing it's job. It is so very necessary to have something like this in our house to protect the innocent little eyes from seeing something they should never see.

This is a good way to control internet usage and limit the websites that can be accessed.
