Walter Becker outdoes himself
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been a long time coming for the second solo album of Steely Dan's Walter Becker. Circus Money, for an amature critic like myself, is too good to explain in words, but I know what I like, and I like Circus Money. My personal favorites on the album are, Door Number Two, a sleek and jazzy tune and Somebody's Saturday Night, a song about a not so good girl. Three Picture Deal is a song that had me hitting the repeat button on my CD player and listening for hours, never wanting it to end. Walter seemed to use less guitar and more jazz orientated instruments than on his first album, which was a suprise as he is a wonderful guitarist. After purchasing the CD, I must have listened to it exclusively for at least three months, although I am a Steely Dan Fanatic, first class. I highly suggest checking this one out.
