Citizen quality watch. I wish there were more watch face choices but it does the job.

This Smart Watch is beautiful, but the only problem with this beautiful is the Battery that it doesn't last not even 5 hours after fully charged. Everything else is perfect.

Really like this watch, I can be alerted for incoming calls and e-mails and also tracks my steps taken per day . It’s quite nice looking and different watch screens can be selected

Great brand, great watch. Had to upgrade my Motorola 360 2nd Gen I got for Valentine's Day six yrs ago.

Just as described and the perfect size smartwatch as it feels like it a traditional Citizen watch

The CZ Smartwatch is watchmaker Citizen's first smartwatch. The styling of the watch takes hints of classic citizen watches. There are 2 buttons that can be programmed. As delivered the top one opens the watch face and the lower one opens Google fit. The crown button opens the watch face double pressing the crown button will open the applications you can then rotate the crown button to scroll the application menu. The watch itself is 46 mm with a stainless steel case and looks good on most wrists. The band is 22mm wide and can be replaced with a standard watch band if you like. The screen is an amoled OLED with gorilla glass covering it. The display is sharp and clear with excellent readability. The watch is waterproof to 3 meters and is Ip67 rated. This watch has Bluetooth 5.0 and I found the connection to be stable with great sound from the speakers and good voice pickup from the microphone so that phone calls answered from the watch are very good. Citizen includes a few watch faces but none of them mimic their best classic watches. You can use watch faces from the Google Play Store or the Facer app to access more faces. The watch runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon wear 3100 which is an older generation processor. The latest Google wear H-MR2 is installed already this makes this watch GUI faster and improves the battery performance. I am able to get a full day's wear out of on this watch with a couple of hours to spare. The watch will charge fully in about 80 minutes. A USB magnetic charger is included. There are 8 megabytes of storage memory for your programs. The heart rate monitor works well. And you can use the preinstalled Google fit to track your exercise. The Spotify app is also installed allowing you to stream music to a pair of Bluetooth headphones from the watch. You can download a podcast or music to the watch and go for a run or walk without having to bring your phone. I really like this watch, I wish they had used the Qualcomm 4100 and included some of the iconic citizen watch faces but as it is it is a great smartwatch. Band options are really unlimited as you can use any standard 22mm watchband.

Nice looking watch but not what i expected for the price and also the fact that you need to download an OS app for it to work with your phone unlike the Samsung watches. Your better off with a Samsung watch or apple watch if you can afford the price they work seamlessly and have all the functions. Plus the watch band was huge even after i fully adjusted it. I was told by best buy that i would need to take it to a watch shop to get the band adjusted to fit they don't do it.

I opted for the black version as I was looking for style and quality without aiming for being ostentatious, and I'd say I chose correctly. The watch is very nice and setup is easy, if a bit timely. There were also some initial issues with syncing an account to the watch, but it eventually worked. There is a severe lack of available watch faces to choose from, which I find quite disappointing. For a smart watch, I had to disable a lot of the notifications and functions that one would usually get a smart watch for in order to get a viable length of time between recharges, but it was not hard to get used to, and I eventually opted to turn off even more of the notification options if I either didn't find them important enough to worry about going to the watch, or they were incompatible with the watch screen and would require using the phone anyway. Overall, I do like the watch and the negatives aren't enough of a drawback to severely hurt the review. I would still recommend it if you're looking for style and function, and if you're looking to stand out, maybe go with the gold option.

Loved it for 3 weeks then it completely died. Sent it back.

I have previously owned Citizen watches and am a fan of the quality and durability. I wore an Eco-Drive watch for many, many years that worked flawlessly. The CZ Smart is an attractive nice-looking watch. The band is a dressy bracelet style one with a metal clasp. Be aware that it is a single HUGE size and unless you have mammoth wrists you will need to remove some links. I had to remove 4 to get the proper fit. Also, you need a strong very small diameter tool to push the link pins out. Fortunately, I had experience removing links with a previous watch. If unsure of your ability or are worried about damaging the band, you may have to take it to a watch shop or jeweler to get it sized. This watch has all the sensors to support Google Fit’s exercise and activity tracking, however, I don’t ever see myself using this watch for much more than maybe keeping track of steps. It is a dress watch with a large watch face, not really what you’d have on in the gym. You will likely want to customize the two physical buttons which you will find in Settings/Personalization/Customize Hardware Buttons. The factory settings are top: Citizen Watch Face app and bottom: Google Fit, neither of which I use. I never did figure out how to use or what the built-in Citizen app is for. When launching it prompts for a new category and after quite a few attempts I figured out that you swipe down to save the name once you type it in. I think it is for saving collections of watch faces but without any documentation nor being very intuitive I don’t think it is worth spending any more time to figure out. The documentation for battery life seems pretty spot on. If you use it as a true “smart” watch with activity tracking, notifications, info apps (i.e. weather) you will find that it will need to be charged daily. A full charge gets you through a whole day with normal use. Your mileage may very if you use connected features heavily. I like to keep the time display always on, which provides a minimal mostly mono-chromatic face with tap to wake. I think that is a pretty good compromise for usability and battery usage. It’s also nice to have the “time only” mode if you really need to have a timepiece knowing that you might not be able to charge for an extended time. Documentation says this mode can last over a week. You do have to press the crown to see a watch face for time though and then you press and hold for quite a while to restart watch in normal mode. Other Observations • Startup from power-on is very quick. • Display is crisp, with good color saturation and viewable under various lighting conditions. You will want to enable the sunlight boost if using a lot outdoors. • I’ve grown to like WearOS but it does have a little bit steeper learning curve than other smart watches I have used. • You will not find all the information that you need to know to master the watch in one place. Plan on using the on-watch tutorials, reading the quick start guide, and Citizen & Google web sites.

The citizen CZ smartwatch is easily the best looking smartwatch ever to me. it very well built and looks like a premium watch. I have not had a smartwatch for several years because the first time I used one I was severely disappointed, battery life was terrible and overall it was very limited. the improvements they have made since then are great the battery life alone is well worth. easily going a whole work day and never having to charge. everything worked as I needed it to notifications came in and were very easy to see and the watch was very responsive in controlling my music. Overall I am extremely happy with this watch and the fact it looks like a normal citizen watch is even better. Highly recommend

Completely died just a couple weeks after I couldn't return it.

This Citizen smartwatch is truly remarkable. It is a fully functioning smartwatch but cleverly and elegantly disguised as a classic watch. This is no ordinary smartwatch—others, such as Fitbits, Apple Watches, etc. instantly look like a smartwatch at first glance, but not this smartwatch. It has that distinctly classic, sophisticated, traditional appearance. Included in the box is the watch, the straps, an info booklet, registration/warranty info, and the charging cord. Attaching the straps to the watch face was a bit difficult, but then once they’re on, they feel secure. There’s no power adapter included, but the charging cord uses a standard USB-A interface. The magnetic charger is a small round puck which clicks onto the back of the watch for wireless charging. It’s a bit of a learning curve to discover all the functions of the watch, there are just so many, but it’s worth it. I signed onto my Google Account (multiple accounts are allowed), and I paired it with my Apple iPhone. It works seamlessly between Android and Apple devices. In no time at all, I was receiving notifications of my emails, appointments on my Google calendar, texts, and phone calls. It has Google Assistant built in, and of course all the normal watch functions, timers, alarms, date, weather, and also activity (wellness, steps, workout, sleep). The battery can be customized to your liking, if you want to charge it every night or less, there are a bunch of options. There are different watch faces and displays to choose from, different sounds, connectivity (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), and there’s even a flashlight function (to use the watch face as a flashlight if needed). There are three side buttons which are also customizable to whatever functions you want to use most. The straps are changeable—I’ve already been to the Citizen website to pick a few more out! My personal previous experience with smartwatches has been with Fitbits and mostly with my Apple Watch (cellular version), and this smartwatch has all the same functionality—and MORE. And the icing on the cake is just the way it looks, so timeless (pun not intended!), classic, elegant, very sophisticated and professional looking.

This is great looking watch, bright crisp screen. Walking around when the watch screen is on it looks like a citizen type watch. Overall function of the citizen smart watch is what you expect on any smart watch. Heart rate, steps, GPS, accelerometer, etc. works wells. Connecting the Citizen watch to my phone did take some time but nothing to worry about. The battery life is where this watch can improve. I’ve been using it for about 10 days now and I have to charge it every night. I consider myself not a heavy user so this is disappointing. Hard to recommend this watch to my friends because of the battery life.

This watch is amazing and just so easy to use. It has put up to the beatings of working outside and shoveling dirt, it is not water proof but it is waterproof enough to wash you hands. Makes reading and answering messeges so easy without having to pull out the phone. And looks great.

Great Looking Watch, many cool faces and option....BUT!!! The battery life is ridiculous!!!! Even with all modes set to minimum you must charge it every 12 hours.
