My wife definitely loves to use this detector !! This device has saved a few traffic awards and is very useful at detecting all different types of alerts at great distances!

Very effective and very easy to use. Very accurate

This has worked great so far. My only gripe is that I don't know what to do with the wire, and it's way too long so ultimately ends up getting wadded up in a cupholder. The styling is also kind aggressive. I bet 2/3 of the people who buy this are bros who have tribal arm band tattoos and wear mostly Ed Hardy.

I really do have mixed feelings about this radar. I have a RAD450 and honestly, it's one of the best radars that I have ever owned from Cobra. But this one this RAD480I gives off too many false alerts even with the sens on max. Sadly my RAD450 gave out although I can still order it from a different vendor, I'm not sure I would go back to this radar. Cobra IDK what you changed in the programming from the RAD450 to the RAD480 but in all honesty this new one sucks.

This is a great product, it does exactly as advertised. Easy to set up, includes instructions and explanation of alerts. The phone app needs some attention though.

pretty good device but got the same results out of a cheaper one from orileys but does have a few extra features that make it worth a little more plus the quality is much better.

Good for the price and small. Not a lot of false alarms but still enough to make me want to pay a little more for a better unit.

I purchased this Radar as a gift for my Dad. I have the same one in my truck and he liked it so much I bought him one also. The product works as intended and notifies me of Radars a couple of miles before I reach them. This is very helpful as I travel the HWY a lot.

For those that say range sucks, I've had no issue at all in open fields and around bends detecting radar from a mile or more away. Perfect unit for an early heads up.

By no means do I think this is a bad product, but with so many false alarms I wish I would have spent the extra money on a better model to get less false alarms and more range. However, there has definitely been times where I was thankful I had this radar detector, so if you're hurting for a cheap but handy detector this will do just fine.

Always on top of the game of spotting speed traps. I have a heavy foot and tend to speed a lot. It certainly protects my wallet. Love the app, it tells to where police and traps have been spotted. Also tells to you which alerts means.

The detector worked well in picking up radar along the way even in the traffic moving in the opposite direction. The detector did it's job well. We are quite pleased with the purchase.

It works as it should but it gets a lot of false positives from other car's radar systems. Cheaper than any speeding ticket though.

Good overall radar for the price there are some false positives but its not nearly as bad as some people say, would strongly reccomend a rear view mirror mount though!
