One down side Im not a fan of is having to use the app to get the full experience so I cant use apple maps if I want to use everything, plus you have to pay monthly to use the apps navigation system

The Drive Smarter app and its features are free to use with a compatible detector like the RAD 480i. Please make sure your detector is paired to the app via Bluetooth. Basic good detector

So far it seems to have alerted me to every radar gun. I did get a laser warning when i wa ssitrig at a red light didnt see a police car anywhere
