Dont really recommend

Cobra Radar

Posted .Thank you for your question. Radar detectors are illegal in Virginia and Washington, D.C., but this law does not apply to dash cameras. The SC 220C offers shared and community radar alerts through our Drive Smarter app, and you have the option to disable these alerts if you wish.

Completely unusable. Way too many false alerts from other vehicles' proximity sensors. Have a RAD450 (which I loved), but started to act up after 3 years (wouldn't go off until last second where it used to give me plenty of warning). Had several flagship Cobras over the years and they all mess up after about 3 years. One the display went kaput, one the speaker went out, and another just constantly would go off as soon as you turned it on. This 480i is garbage right out of the box. Doesn't seem to be any firmware updates for this thing either that I can tell (can't get their software to work on my PC). This thing is going back immediately.
