Posted .To reduce false alerts, try using Medium or Low SEN modes. To change the SEN mode, repeatedly press the SEN button until you reach the desired mode.

Will Save You From Speeding Past The Grocery Store

I've passed local and state police while they were parked and on the highway coming towards me, and this has yet to pick up anything. I guess they all could have had their radar turned off but not likely. I've checked several times to make sure the detector is set to “on” for each type of radar, very disappointed.

Constantly have to reattach to glass. Even after cleaning all surfaces. Don’t know if it’s even working properly because it stays silent most of the time. Should have spent the money on a Valentine. I have 2 of those.

RAD450 was much much better.

Completely unusable. Way too many false alerts from other vehicles' proximity sensors. Have a RAD450 (which I loved), but started to act up after 3 years (wouldn't go off until last second where it used to give me plenty of warning). Had several flagship Cobras over the years and they all mess up after about 3 years. One the display went kaput, one the speaker went out, and another just constantly would go off as soon as you turned it on. This 480i is garbage right out of the box. Doesn't seem to be any firmware updates for this thing either that I can tell (can't get their software to work on my PC). This thing is going back immediately.
