Posted .To reduce false alerts, use medium or low SEN modes. You can change the SEN mode by pressing the SEN button.

Nothing like the 400$ beltronics radar I use to have. This one does not have the red light camera feature like it says. This radar only picks up the police when they are already close to you. Good for trips but not as a everyday use

The one I got now is trash, it has only went off twice. The other one could even pick up automatic doors!

You may want to check your installation and sensitivity level, but please keep in mind that the RAD 480i has false alert filtering, which results in a quieter ride as it filters out some of those pesky false alerts, including automatic door openers.
