Great device that mounts easily and is simple to remove from magnetic base. Display provides useful information. Sound quality could be better.

Nice upgrade from 480i. I like the interface, the app, and I seem to be getting FAR less false alarms when compared to the 480i that I had for several years. Very happy I decided to upgrade.

Not a bad detector works great!! It's a perfect device for those of us that don't like tickets and it reminds you of the speed you are traveling. I like it a lot better than the first one i had. This one doesn't turn itself off or give you the wrong signal.

Surprisingly great performance from this budget radar detector. The range is great and sensitivity is excellent, especially in “city” mode. Great false alarm filtering. $250 well spent!

It can detect and pick up from up to 5 mile range and alert you .i do recommend it. Keeps ypu from getting a ticket and a low rate with your cehicle insurance.

Radar works good you don't pick up no false alarms too much now it's learning it's adapting to police officers scan One following me all the way out to town I can hear when he was checking my speed stay below 54 miles it works well I revise you to buy it if you can thank you Cobra Cobra Kai

Way better than previous model. Gives you accurate detection with very minimal false or ghost. You cant get rid of those with any model though. This unit hooks to my phone flawlessly and works great.

After Looking at all the choices available. I picked this item. I am so glad I did. Everything plus more that expected. This was an AWESOME CHOICE.

This detector is the best so far, and I have had my share of them. This thing detects radar well in time to slow down if you're having a little lead forlot problem... It'd go off and a good half a mile down the road you'd pass the cop. Also it rarely gives false alarms, when passing buildings with security systems... I know several of my older units would always detect "radar" when passing a shopping mall or other vendor like best buy .. not this unit. Though I could do without the bells and whistles, I didn't need GPS, my phone has that, I'm sure there are other features that I could do without, speaking of which that over speed warning, every time you exceed 70mph? THAT THING IS ANNOYING! Anyway, a good detector for those long trips and trying to make them a little shorter.

After researching and watching reviews, I’m happy with my purchase of the Cobra RAD 700i. It strikes a great balance between affordability and performance, offering the key features I need for daily driving. The radar detection is reliable, providing early warnings for various radar bands, including X, K, and Ka, while filtering out false alerts from automatic doors and other common sources of interference. The built-in GPS and access to the Drive Smarter app enhance situational awareness by alerting me to red light cameras, speed traps, and other road hazards in real-time. My only wish is that it had an alternative power source besides the 12V lighter connection for added convenience.

This is a great product. It’s replacing about a six-year-old escort detector. It provides great sensitivity for alerts and through the app. Automatically alert to live radar as well.

Easy to install and easy to use and setup using the App. Has a built-in GPS which will display your current speed and you can set an alert for 5 mph over the limit.
