This detector is the best so far, and I have had my share of them. This thing detects radar well in time to slow down if you're having a little lead forlot problem... It'd go off and a good half a mile down the road you'd pass the cop. Also it rarely gives false alarms, when passing buildings with security systems... I know several of my older units would always detect "radar" when passing a shopping mall or other vendor like best buy .. not this unit. Though I could do without the bells and whistles, I didn't need GPS, my phone has that, I'm sure there are other features that I could do without, speaking of which that over speed warning, every time you exceed 70mph? THAT THING IS ANNOYING! Anyway, a good detector for those long trips and trying to make them a little shorter.

After researching and watching reviews, I’m happy with my purchase of the Cobra RAD 700i. It strikes a great balance between affordability and performance, offering the key features I need for daily driving. The radar detection is reliable, providing early warnings for various radar bands, including X, K, and Ka, while filtering out false alerts from automatic doors and other common sources of interference. The built-in GPS and access to the Drive Smarter app enhance situational awareness by alerting me to red light cameras, speed traps, and other road hazards in real-time. My only wish is that it had an alternative power source besides the 12V lighter connection for added convenience.

This Cobra is replacing a Valentine that I had. And I cannot believe how great it is. I love all the functions and how easy, it was to set up my preferences. My son is trying to steal it for his vehicle

I personally like it. It is on point in detection capabilities when cops are near close range and how far they are. I always keep it on automatic so if a cop changes frequency it will be detected no matter what the range. It’s really easy to use too and small, not to overbearing on dashboard. One of the best at a low price point over the escort max4. It has an app to integrate but never did integrate it. Overall good buy imo!

Way better than previous model. Gives you accurate detection with very minimal false or ghost. You cant get rid of those with any model though. This unit hooks to my phone flawlessly and works great.

Easy to install and easy to use and setup using the App. Has a built-in GPS which will display your current speed and you can set an alert for 5 mph over the limit.

If you like not getting false radar hits, then this is the one to get . Absolutely phenomenal radar detector and what you get for the price. Wow! Love it!

Great so far only been using for a couple weeks. Will revisit my review if anything difference occur.

Never understood why ppl spend hundreds of dollars when they all do the same thing. Live this radar it picks up on cops miles away giving me plently of time to see them before they even know im coming

RAD 700i had the best detection from different frequency combine with alarm with coming cars closed by. Also, warning of speed over limit as well.

This is a great product. It’s replacing about a six-year-old escort detector. It provides great sensitivity for alerts and through the app. Automatically alert to live radar as well.

works good till now. Professional installed in store. Bought during black Friday when the installation was free by bestbuy.
