First of all it will drain your car battery if you don't unplug it even if the vehicle is off. Second it didn't detect any police officers even right next to me on the highway. It went off once to tell me there was a train and there was no train. That was the only time it went off in 2 weeks. I returned it after that.

This radar detector pretty much detects everything, the only problem is 90% of detections are not police. It almost turns into the boy who cried wolf situation. For that money I expect more.

I've always had some kind of Cobra product with me in my vehicle and this one doesn't let me down. the last one I owned finally gave out after 10 years of everyday use. The voice feature is very handy so I don't have to look up when I'm driving to see what brand it is.

Good enough for a regular radar/laser detector. No complains

how would you feel about having this mounted in your car to notify you of any police vehicles near by and when there is a cop car less than 100 feet away from you in plain sight..this thing does not even make a sound. I would say that it is not a good product at all.

Will sound alarm at all times, cops or not, unit will get really hot, and beep for everything even on the middle of nowhere with no radars, trains, automatic doors, etc, already returned it

I've used it for many weeks now and found that the sensitivity of the unit isn't very good. This is my 3rd Cobra detector that I've owned and found it to be the worst one owned. I'm actually thinking of exchanging it for another model.

The radar did not pick up cops on the highway, which was the reason I purchased this item! It would go off erratically indicating trains and emergency vehicles.

it beeps alot with no police in sight,has a defect that says train approaching but theres no train or tracks? i would suggest do not purchase this item.

THIS ITEM WORKS GREAT AND SAVES YOU FROM GETTING IN TROUBLE NOT THAT I SPEED BUT IT'S HANDLY TO USE AND LET'S YOU KNOW IF THERES AN EMERGENCY BEHIND YOU SO YOU CAN MOVE OUT OF THE WAY

I had a Cobra previously so I checked what Best Buy had online and then went to the store to double check my selection and purchase one. They are very trustworthy.

It works. I couldn't tell you how well it works but it makes noise. Drove past several cops, not a peep. Driving with no one near me and it goes crazy.

This is my 4th Cobra product. I have always been pleased with the products they offer and that hasn't changed with this one. Gets the job done!

This product does what it says. Didn't get too many false signals other the train alert. Drove through 7 states and detected everything on the highway.
