This item does not pick any radars except for automatic doors at stores and i have crossed many radar detecting officers and it did not give any detection warnings whatsoever. This purchase was a waste of money. A paper weight!

We used this radar detector on a 600 mile trip and every 20 miles or so, it would say and message "train". I called Cobra and they said "Oh yeah it does that". So, I returned it to Best Buy right after the trip was over.

I live out the outside part of town where the main road goes from a 55 zone to 30 as you get closer to downtown. Being all marshland its a straight shot for about 2 miles from when it turns into a 30 zone even though its a one way road with no cars entering so people tend to keep going 55 until they get closer to the main part of town. The local cops started cracking down on cars going to fast and knowing my driving habits I knew I was eventually going to be pulled over I bought the cobra on my way back home from work and as I neared town the cobra read "Ka" and sure enough about 10-15 seconds later I passed a cop sitting with his lights off near the dirt patch by the powerlines. 2 weeks later and its still doing its job great, it starts reading the radar from about 1/2 mile away giving me a decent amount of time to slow down before getting into the 30 zone. Does a great job on the highway as well, I get a Ka reading and i'll look ahead and start seeing brake lights going off.

It stopped working after two weeks. The lights don't come on and it always says a train is coming. I'll be taking it back.

I dont like it i was on the freeway and it went off like police where close when no police was even around

Worst ever product. Thankfully I wasn't speeding or I would have even more mad. Wasted $135!!

Not a good product, always give false alarm and that too very often

I received this radar as a gift, it has saved me several time driving on the HI way and it goes off and people speed past me having not a clue, BUSTED.. The cord is a problem ,seems to be to short and pulls the radar to one side. Seems to be a few train detection when there is none in site. Also thought I was being followed cause it wouldn't shut off, come to find out from other reviews it is certain cars that can trigger it. Good to know. ...

It's very easy to use and it does work on all that the Police use to give you a ticket.I finally came across a couple of them and it detected them real fast and from at least a mile away.woo

This is a great radar detector for the price. It has saved me from getting a ticket many times, however sometimes it is late to detect which resulted in me getting pulled over. No ticket though, so success!

After getting 2 warnings from police for speeding, I thought I'd should invest in one of these. In Arizona, it's legal to own one so I got it. I did a lot of research before buying this one due to to IntelliMute Pro feature. I didn't want the police to know I had one in my car and this feature works great. When it's on, it goes silent buts still lights up to warn you. The Police just doesn't know you have a radar in your car. Haven't got pulled over yet.

I have found this device to be excellent. It clearly communicates to you and I found it to be very accurate. I don't get all the false readings like I did before. It saved me from getting a ticket.

Good produce but I have noticed that sometimes the alert goes off without an actual cop being in the area and it's off by about a mile or so also randomly goes off.

i would not recommend that unit. If i could find my receipt i would return it immediatly. Less than a month of owning that unit. Yes it does give you real alarm when you approaching a radar however it also gave you 3 times more alarms for no valid reasons. Mine goes off randomly for no reason in totally remote area, react to Audi car around me ( may be trigger from their blind spot transmitter but very specific to most of the audi car surrounding me on the road?) and the most odd is that it give me on a regulardaily basis at different locations the "train" alarm when there is not a train track within more than 10 miles... so because so many faulse alarms, (even in city mode) you do not pay attention to it anymore and will be caught. My previous 5 years old , cheapest unit bought for $59 at walmart did gave me soo much better results than this one... i will not buy a cobra product any more when it relate to Radar detector..

Works great, has let me know of radar with enough time to slow down. Very few false positives, every now and then it does warn of train approach when none in sight but I can deal with that because it makes uo for all the accurate warnings it gives me. Definitely buy it, it pays for itself in the first trip if you do a lot of highway driving

It does what I need it to do and wasn't super expensive. Very happy with this product!

This is a Great Product I travel 128 everyday and I use the for traffic alerts as well as other needs since I drive a 2016 Porsche Cayman 718. I would highly recommend this product to my friends and family.

Did it ever occur to the manufacturer that there might be more than 12 inches between the cigarette lighter and the spot on the dashboard where the detector is to be mounted? Also the adhesive does not hold.
