However, after owning this product and having used it for a little over three months, the camera stopped working entirely. It keeps displaying the message, "Cannot detect SD card." Thinking, and hoping, something was wrong with the SD card, I popped into my local Best Buy after work about two weeks ago now, and got an SD card. Popped that into the camera after, and the same message popped up; it will not record or even display another screen/prompt on what to do. I wouldn't be as half as disappointed as I am if I had spent closer to 50$ dollars for this thing... I tried reaching out to the Cobra team to see if they could help me, and they did not reply. (It's been about two weeks now.) Oh well, I just really advise buyers to get something else. Put your 200$ toward a camera that is guaranteed to work after just three months of use.

I had my SC200D professionally installed since June 2021. In the first few months, I could view the videos on my iPhone. Now, I could not. The Drive Smart software does not find SC200D device even I move my iPhone right next to it. I had tried restart power on the device and my iPhone, and made sure device bluetooth was on. Drive Smarter just could not find it.

When it recorded it recorded great, but for some reason it would only recorded when my phone was in car. I also would be missing parts of videos, so it wasn't continually like it said it was.

Glad you had an easy time installing and thanks for trying our products.
Our cameras do loop record continuously and you should have all of your videos on the SD card. We haven't seen issues with missing videos in our testing or from other customers. If you've pressed the favorite button or had a severe impact, some of those recordings may show up in the Favorites or Emergency folder, so that may be the next place to look.
Not sure where else you tried to record with the camera, but plugging into the USB port via computer will not provide the power the camera needs to record.
