I am also satisfied with the installation.

The voice controls rarely work and it jumps to photos, emergency recording and fritzes out all the time. Not a long-term solution.

My husband originally wanted one that doesn't have the display screen but after hearing some complaints about the dash cams glitching or shutting down, and you don't know because there is no display, we decided to go with this model. Installation was easy and the wires tuck nicely into the trim.

Unit is now trash and money well wasted

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's start off by saying the product was too good to be true....from the clunky installation and horrible app this thing seemed to work ok for a bit but had to change it from constant looping to surveillance mode as it drained the battery in my truck after several days even with the OBDII kit which turns the unit off after several days to save the battery. Also scrolling through the app to view the footage was so slow and time consuming and the device constanlty changed its own default settings everytime I set the front and rear camera to record motion I would find one was turned off. The device missed several important clips and randomly saved some. Best accessible clips were from removing the SD card to view on a computer. Need less to say I have had the dash cam just shy of a year now and it slowly stopped working and now it just freezes and is stuck with the last image it seen before freezing. have replaced and tried 4 different SD cards and same result and I also updated several firmware versions to the newest one to see if this resolved the issue which it did not..... this thing is a paperweight piece of junk and I would reccomend looking elsewhere ... I should have listened to some of the reviews ..... don't waste your time with this camera as it is horrible and a complete waste of $$... I am actually working with Cobra on a support warranty claim as the moment and lets see how they help me with this product.

Only draw back is they don't sell the needed install kit which had to be ordered from Cobra. The shipping cost almost matched the price of the install kit. I love the dash cam regardless!

Syncing with the app/phone is a failure. Had to try showing a cop a micro SD card during an incident bc it won’t connect with the iphone at all. Very inconvenient.
