This is my second SC-200D, returned the first one for the same issues. Does not record! Turn on the car, it might or might not start recording. If it isn't recording, reset the camera might work...who knows. Half the time it will say SD card not inserted, it is, and I've tried multiple SD cards with the same issue. "Cobra" used to make some really nice products, not so much on this one.

Syncing with the app/phone is a failure. Had to try showing a cop a micro SD card during an incident bc it won’t connect with the iphone at all. Very inconvenient.

Requested rear camera placed in a certain area and it was placed there perfectly. Must download the app from Cobra to connect Phone to Device. That was easy. Don't forget to buy a 256gig MicroSD for maximum recording.

The one in thw truck has had no issues and works great. The one in the car goes black and/or glitchy and flashes when it gets too hot when it is left on the windsheild on hot days.

I took it back because it wasn’t what I was looking for. I wanted a front facing camera and cabin. This just records front and rear, not inside the car.

The owners manual and online FAQs are worthless. It dings, beeps, and other warnings sounds that i have no clue what they mean.
