Seems pretty good so far. A swivel on the mount would be priceless! Suction cup mount would be nice too - even if it was an accessory. Video quality is great. The app is kind of unreliable to transfer video to your phone but it's not really important to me. It's nice to use your smartphone to change camera settings.

Easy to install, good picture/video for both front and rear camera. Does well night and day. Sound is good quality. Bought another.

Love this camera! This is installed in a 2016 F150. Took me about an hour to decide how I wanted to mount it and route the wires - then changing my mind and changing the rear camera position and re-routing the wires. I could have done it in 10 minutes if I knew exactly how I was going to install it. I used the cigarette car adaptor the unit came with and even though the wires were minimally exposed I didn’t really like the appearance. Compounding matters is that the unit stayed on after the car was turned off. Maybe it would have shut off after 5 minutes but I was turning it off manually upon exiting the vehicle. I found an aftermarket power source that plugs into the OBDI port (on an F150 it’s located under the steering wheel to the left) which even further concealed the power wire and shuts the unit off 5 minutes after the car is turned off. All the wires are extremely well hidden. The quality of the video (both front and back) is great. It records in 1 to 3 minute clips, you can set the duration. The front camera and the rear camera produce two separate video and audio clips. The app can connect to the camera while it’s on and download the clips to your phone. Additionally, you can upload those clips to cloud storage through the app. I’m only a couple of days in with the unit so I can’t comment on the long term reliability but the installation was easy, the video quality is awesome and features are plentiful. I’m really impressed so far.

For the price is ok 200 and u get front and back mine fit perfectly behind my mirror so I can't see it I drive a 17 camaro so my windshield is about a normal car window size now the app is a nightmare, u will save time removing the SD card and plug it into a pc

Settings are kinda annoying to navigate. It records as a dashcam should, decent quality. But the app for this belongs in the trash can and should be redone. Overall it’s a decent dashcam for something quick and not a lot of research or wanting to actually keep footage

The dash cam was perfect for my use case. It came with both a front and rear camera so it can capture things taking place around you. The angle is pretty wide so it captures what is visible through your windshield. The mounting mechanisms that it came with are very sturdy. You might just have to firmly attach the rear camera cable for it to work. Other than that, it worked great. I can pair it on my phone and with the accompanying app, it gives me warnings when I'm going over the speed limit. I just wish it came with a radar detector, but other than that it's great value for what it has to offer.

This dash cam is a good buy for the money. This compares to $500-$600 cams. It will link to your phone for viewing or sharing video or pull the sd card out and put in your pc. Front and rear cams have good picture quality. Can also be wired for motion detection when parked but will shut down if the car battery is getting low but not too low to start. Directions that come with it are useless but you can get online for good instructions. Buttons on the bottom have the menu and options for it. Pretty straight forward once you see it.

 I had bought one of these for me and one for my mom. We both had had ours for about a year and then the company changed the app completely and then I started having problems with my dash cam and thought it was the problem with the dash cam itself, and since it was under warranty with Best Buy I took it in and exchanged it for the exact same cam and yet the new dash cam which I’ve had about two months now has the very same issues and so does my moms. Ever since the company has changed their app the dash cam will not connect to the app making it useless because you can cannot access the video files then sometimes when trying to connect the dash cam to the app either the app will crash or the dash cam will freeze, resulting in loss of connection to the app, and then other times the app will show it connected to the dash cam but when you try to view the gallery, it will say the device is not connected. I almost got hit tonight by somebody running a stop sign and had I been hit by this person running the stop sign I would not have been able to prove that they ran the stop sign because I cannot even access the files on there and now the files are gone completely because another thing that tends to happen is after multiple times of the app crashing or the dash cam crashing. You will get a notice that the data is corrupted, and you must reformat the SD card making the files gone forever which since you can’t even access them in the first place, I guess doesn’t really matter, but do not buy this. It is a complete waste of your money go with a different company altogether..

Easy to install, simple navigation of on screen menus. Biggest draw back is having to use their clunky app to access saved videos

This dashcam was easy to set up and works perfectly for what I needed. Front and back cams are clear and easy to see. I had a cheap dashcam before, and this was a definite upgrade at an affordable price. I recommend it highly for anyone who needs front and back coverage for their cameras or who has a long commute.

Quality of camera is good and app is decent to use. The only downside is all the wiring. It doesn't hide in the car very well and is lined through the front and back. I don't recommend keeping it plugged in all the time, as it killed our car battery and needed to be replaced.

I've had this for about 2 years now and I would give it 3, maybe 4-stars, if it wasn't for the constant issues I've had with it wanting to format the SD card or shutting itself off randomly. It works great when it wants to, but I've already swapped out multiple SD cards (w/ recommended A U-1 Class 10 high endurance versions from Cobra's website) and it still randomly has SD card errors or formatting messages while I'm driving. Also, it has a random habit of shutting off, even if I'm sitting idle at traffic lights. I have to pull the unit off and back onto the stand for it to restart. At first, I thought it was a defective unit but I've gone through three units, all with the same issue. Do not recommend, considering its purpose.

Good product and very easy to ise and the price was not outrageous.

Not sure if I just got a bad one.. it’s glitches out, stops recording while I’m driving, says it has a battery but only works if plugged in, the smart features sound cool but the app is not very issuer friendly and several things don’t seem to work. It also says it has audio recording but no matter how many times I reset the device or turn on audio.. every video has been silent… not a huge deal but seems odd to advertise a feature it doesn’t actually have..and tbh, as a ride-share driver, having audio would add a layer of security for me.. every now and then a passenger says or does something.. out of pocket, haven’t needed it yet but would hate to be in a situation where I need to prove someone said something (or that I did or didn’t say something) and not be able to do so… hopefully cobra will refund me kr send me a better device..

Easy to install. Easy to use after a little practice. Good quality video. Also purchased a hardwire kit to take full advantage of the units abilities.

The dash cam is good quality. I am able to see license plate numbers which lower end cameras cannot, and that's about the most necessary thing a dash cam needs to be able to do. The app needs work. They just did an update that greatly reduced the amount of waiting for videos to buffer, which was the most annoying thing about the app to that point. Before the update the app was 2/5, now I would rate it 3.5/5. Overall, it gets the job done.

I had an older cobra dashcam that lasted about 10 years…. Got this one since the older died…. Very happy with this for 6 months now…. Has both from and rear view camera ….. use this primarily to record in case of accidents….. looking to buy a second one for my second car

The camera works great. Very reliable and the picture is clear! You did need a little bit of cable management for the cords that connect the main camera to the back camera but once you figure that out, you're good. Definitely replace the mice SD card that comes with it with a more reliable option. It constantly becomes corrupted and you will lose your data. Best Buy has plenty of other options.
