    Randomly stops recording, only works when it wants to, I have tried formatting SD cardmany times, changing SD cards, changing power cords, updating the firmware, and even reseting the dash cam but no matter what it still randomly stops recording and I find myself constantly checking to make sure it’s tried to email Cobra customer service and was told the email was invalid. avoid this camera if you don’t want a headache

    For those of us with more diminutive classic cars that are dwarfed by SUV nation these days, this Cobra dash cam comes highly recommended as providing valuable visibility on the road. Hooked up to the app, it really brings current technology into the cabin. Cannot recommend the product enough!

    Have had this for almost a year. Since I got it, the audio has only worked once and that was when it wasn’t even plugged in my car, but instead an outlet in my house just to see if it worked. The app has always been incredibly user UNfriendly. The wifi connection to the camera has always taken at least 5 minutes to connect to my phone. And even if it will connect, it will say I cannot access my gallery because there’s no connection! Horrible, I’m glad I got this as a gift so I didn’t waste any of my own money.

    The app is glitchy and slow the device is not very responsive, constantly freezes,constantly goes to intial set up and will record whenever it feels like it even after 2 firmware updates. This is not a dependable dash cam and now i have to spend money and buy another dash cam hopefully the next brand is better.

    Do not ever purchase a Cobra dash cam. Nothing but problems from the start. $400 dollar pile of worthless junk. You are better off setting your cell phone on the dash. They should be ashamed of themselves.
