I really liked it, it has a lot of things on it that can do whatever you like. I especially liked the map and red light camera features. It’s cool that you can set it up on your phone. I’m not really that tech savvy but Eric in installation was really helpful in getting me started. I had one problem when first installed with the power wire that connects to unit. Eric and Emily helped me take care of that. I’m ready for the road now.

This dash cam can be used right out of the box without the extra features which take time to understand. If youll spend time learning the dash cam and its companion app Drive Smart, you’ll benefit from knowing what’s ahead.

My experience with the SC400D started off great. The camera quality was excellent, and everything worked as expected. But about a week before the warranty expired, problems began. First, the voice control stopped functioning. Shortly after, the side button used to save important clips became unresponsive. Now, the camera won’t boot past the logo screen 99% of the time. I reached out to Cobra before the warranty expired, but was ultimately told that since it’s now out of warranty, there’s nothing they can do—aside from offering to sell me a new one. I’m very disappointed in the long-term reliability of this unit and the level of support I received. I expected better product durability and customer service from a company with a long-standing reputation for reliability.

It works like a charm. Great view, clarity, and peace of mind. Easy to install. No more than 30 minutes. Probably less.

I bought one of these for each of my 3 children as a Christmas present. My son installed them all and said it was very easy to do. So far, they have informed me these are the best!! Great picture.

Was in a car wreck a few months ago. The Cobra video cam I had caught everything. After the wreck I decided to upgrade to the sc 400d. This has a front and rear camera. I also bought the cabin camera separately from cobra. The Cabin camera hooks into a jack on the side of the SC 400d. All three camera's run simultaneously regardless of which view you have on the screen. I love the fact that you can give voice commands to the camera. The camera comes Alexa equipped and I love this function. The only negative thing I can say is that I wish the camera had more voice commands. I like this camera so much I bought one for my wifes car.

Purchased two units, and installed them. Easy to set up, only issue was getting Alexa to work, but was probably my fault. Happy with the product so far.

The camera itself records in high quality. Catches good details and already snitched on someone trying to lie about their accident. But the app itself is horrible. It connects and disconnects when changing screens. Its slow and riddle with freezing errors. The shared radar feature, I don't even know if it works. It popped up once and never again. It also requests location access at all times and then proceeds to eat 25 percent of my phones battery in a hour. I have a Samsung flagship phone and this app is throwing warnings that the processor is being overused. I wish I could give it 5 stars but the app is so bad it literally holds this camera back from greatness.

I love it. The videos are so clear. I love that its front and rear camera. Decent size. I can see both angles very clear. Super easy to function and navigate. The person who installed it gave us a brief description but to be honest it's so straightforward. The app doesnt have any glitches and i manage it myself. It also has a lot of different features. Somewhat pricey but definitely worth it with the amount of claims nowadays.

The best webcam i ever had compared to other cheaper webcams

It was easy to install and easy to use. My major complaint would be the app. I haven't been able to connect to it for about a month now. I can't find any necessary updates or anything. It just connects, I try to view a video and it disconnects. You still have the ability to eject the SD card and pull videos that way though. Overall, it was a good investment.

I purchased 3 of these camera setups to install in 3 different vehicles that are commonly driven. I have had extreme difficulty using the app especially recently on an android device. I purchased the hardwire cord to connect in the vehicles and the wire gauge is so small its almost ridiculous. With all those negatives I felt as though the cameras were ok at best and most functions like live updates and alexa I didn't use because I just wanted a camera, not some interactive device giving out verbal vomit all the time. Now it's been over a year and warranty has run out. several months ago while still under warranty I was having issues with 2 of the cameras. because I have been out from a bad injury the camera warranty has expired. the first camera started just beeping at me several times a minute, come to find out it was as though the event button was being pushed repeatedly but it was not. the second camera gets very hot to the touch and shuts off randomly. on top of that the second one now is killing the battery if left plugged in for more than 12 hours or it will randomly shut off while driving down the road. Needless to say I would have expected a short lived product if I purchased on some cheap garbage website however I expected a 3-5 year device with these cameras. consequently I will now be looking for a much better product moving forward.

The camera is great. Great resolution. But the main problem is with the app connecting to the device. It freezes gets stuck on a continuous loop. Doesn't detect device. Lags to get videos when it does work. Only one phone can be registered to the device so if you have multiple drivers only one person can have access to the dash cam but like i said it never works i well be calling customer support tomorrow to trouble shoot it and if that doesn't work i week be returning it. The last thing anyone needs after an accident is not being able to retrieve the video footage to send it to yourself for insurance purposes.

Great 4K Dash cam with crisp images and easy download thru 5G WIFI. I wish it could integrate with car's navigation system/google maps, and I wish it would allow video downloads integrated with the location map. I am not sure if any Dash cam in current market carries such features.

I kept it for a week and not very impressed. The picture during the daytime was very good at night. You couldn’t even pick up a license plate mostly due to it being wiped out due to headlights and or street lights. My biggest concern was that after about eight or nine minutes it would keep shutting off and that was with a 256 gig card. I have an iPhone 14 and I could not playback any video at all. I would have to take the card out and stick it in my laptop in order to see any of the videos which makes absolutely no sense.
