Coda is my favorite of the remixed remasters
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already have several LZ vinyl. I picked up all their studio CDs after the 1st remaster release about 3 yrs ago (I don't know who did the remastering). This time around Jimmy Page did an excellent job remastering these latest releases. Each instrument comes across better than ever. I listened to every CD (thanks to a friend who bought them as there were released). Most remixed songs on their respective albums are very similar. Casually listening, the differences are so subtle it's hard to hear any variation from the original. Knowing the songs and with a good sound system or headphones the differences are there and are pretty cool. After listening to the entire collection I bought Zeppelin III, Presence, and Coda. Presence is good, LZ III is great and Coda kicks A**.

Zeppelin Redux
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You should go into buying this cd knowing that it is an "end cap" of sorts: the Zeppelin LP restorations by Jimmy Page released in "deluxe editions" in 2015-16 each feature a "companion disk" with (mostly) instrumental tracks or early versions. But Led Zep 1 (their first LP) and Coda (their last) have the best "bonus" tracks on them with extra material that is fresh and original. Zep 1 has live recordings; Coda has material you could only get via Bootleg (like a GREAT recording of their Bombay experience). A must have for fans.

From worst to first
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What was the least interesting of all of the original Zeppelin albums is the must-have of the current batch of Jimmy Page re-packagings. Most of the rest of the releases don't look indispensable, especially if you have previous versions of the albums, but this one has a lot of fresh music to digest. "Wearing and Tearing" could have been on any Zep album and the the recordings of "Four Sticks" and "Friends" with Indian musical ensembles show Page and Plant's real immersion in world music.

All the missing nuggets you were waiting for ...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.... are here at last. The Bombay Orchestra versions of "Four Sticks" and "Friends." Rough, early versions of "When the Levee Breaks" and "The Wanton Song." The instrumental "St. Tristan's Sword," where you can hear seeds of "Over The Hills and Far Away" and "Night Flight." Non-album, "orphan" tracks like "Hey Hey What Can I Do" and "Travelling Riverside Blues." And a THIRD mix of "In The Light" for those of us who loved "Everybody Makes it Through" on the Physical Graffiti reissue.

FINALLY A FITTING CODA!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Knowing that the original release was contractual and slapdash, I'm thrilled that JP choose to reconnoiter the vaults and share some jewels and make this 3 disc set a wonderful coda for LZ. If this is truly the last of LZ's studio oddities, crank up the volume and enjoy!

Great collection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is great to have "Hey Hey What Can I do on a remastered CD. I had the Immigrant Song 45 when I was a kid and this was the flip side and I lost it thru the years. This is one of Zep's coolest songs!!!

classic rock that's timeless
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jimmy Page did an awesome job remastering all nine Led Zeppelin albums! The early versions of certain songs are interesting to hear. It's also interesting that most of these albums issued 36-47 years ago made the Billboard charts!

Completing Led Zeppelin Albums
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never had the Led Zeppelin albums past Houses of the Holy. Now that they are remastered, I finished the collection. Knew the songs, just never had the albums. Great sound as most remastered albums are now.

How to redefine the outtakes album
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The final release in Jimmy Page's deluxe reissuing of Zep's classic catalog, he has turned the slight 8-song album of outtakes into a 3-album epic of additional outtakes, alternate versions and missed opportunities. Way worth the money for the absolutely explosive "Wearing and Tearing" and "Baby Come On Home".

great remaster
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the last zep remaster is just as good as the others. and three discs of music. totally worth it. love how you can hear the seeds of the later "unledded" album in the two "bombay orchestra" tunes.

The Swan Song..

The Bottom of the Barrell is Scraped
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Vastly expanded to 3 disks, Coda now includes pretty much everything that got a test final mix but didn't make an album. There is some fine work here, and Travelling Riverside Blues finally finds a home in the canonical releases. As is true for the rest of the remaster series, the sound is exquisite.

The finishing touch on a great remastered set
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The final album in Led Zeppelin's catalog gets just as good of an update as the rest. The bonus tracks give a great look behind the scenes to the musical era that Zeppelin inhabited.

Classic album with two discs of extras
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you don't like Led Zeppelin, you're not going to like this album. If you're a fan, then you'll enjoy it. The extras aren't essential, but they are fun to listen to.

Excellent finish
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This CD provides a great wrap up for the deluxe remastered. There are new and different songs instead of just different versions, plus Hey Hey What Can I Do!!!

Must have Zep cds.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.True Zeppelin fans must have. Hearing all of the alternate mixes of the songs you love is almost as good as hearing previously unreleased material.
