It's the Dark Souls/Bloodborne formula mixed with anime. The game tends to be a bit easier since you have an NPC ally with you. They can revive you or at the very least help pull aggression away from you. You can also switch 'classes' at any point, so you can vary your fighting style at any time without having to re-spec your character.

Good gameplay with some cool bosses. One area is a legit maze.

Plays like dark souls, there's not much to say after that other than is great. You can play as either male or female, lots of customization. Nice vivid colors, stages and weapon upgrades. You get rewarded with armor & weaponry as you go along. Great game, go get it!

If you like or enjoy anime this game is for you. If you like or enjoy Dark Souls this game is also for you. I played this game right after completing Dark Souls 3. It felt similarly mechanics wise but different enough in button layout and in storytelling to set it apart. I enjoyed this game very much, and you probably will too.

Not the best Souls game out there but absolutely one of the best alternatives out of the main FROM games. It does enough to stand on its own and worth checking out.

One of the best games of 2019 to play. It is a solid hack and slash game that is heavily inspired by dark souls with its own anime mix.

Unique weapons, boss fights are challenging along with hard enemies and good secrets. Its an amazing game in short.l

I honestly bought the game due to it being on sale and I really wanted a physical copy. I do have this in digital but hey couldn’t beat the price low price that BB has to offer.
