This was a gift for Christmas for my mom who lives in Wyoming, so not sure other than others telling us this was best choice. Need to have a better way of communicating how to use as there were a few issues. But I do think once ironed out all will work well.

Wanted this for the winter to keep me from having to scrape snow and ice off my car. I have a bad back and knee, so my husband didn't want me falling trying to do that.

This is a great remote starter. I love that I can use my phone to start my car from anywhere.

Not too bad for the price. Havent really tested the distance but i do like that you have to hold the button down to start versus starting after one quick push.

I wish to compliment the gentleman who installed it was excellent. His communication was above and beyond what I expected

Does he job as supposed to. Even though it does not send signal for engine start, most of the time used, the car starts when I get there afterwards. I just wish they could install both as two ways. Would be great to know the car started.

Bought for my daughter as a gift. She loves it. Helps keep her safe when getting out of work late. Also so nice to get in to a warmed up car in winter and a cool car in summer.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. Called Best Buy to ensure this would work with her Volkswagen. These assured me it would. When we brought her car in for the appointment (almost a month after Christmas), we were informed this is NOT compatible with her car so we had to return. Waste of time, money, and disappointed again since this was a Christmas gift. May be a one off, but frustrating experience.

Starts and turns off car by hitting lock button 3 times or using the little clicker that comes with it (press and hold down once with the clicker). HOWEVER, if I use this automatic car starter to turn the car on and try to use my automatic trunk open/close button, it won't work due because of the automatic car starter. Yesterday I tried this (forgetting it won't work), and then manually opened the trunk, and when I got in my car to drive, there was a clicking noise coming from the car as if the automatic car starter was trying to re-set itself. Now I can't lock my car doors with the key fob OR with the lock button on my car doors. My car has been making a clicking sound since yesterday, and my door locks still do not work. A major inconvenience being as I work in Brooklyn and park my car on the street! *Side Note* Also found it funny that when I went to submit my 1 star review, Best Buy’s website was “having an issue with our review system” So even when you want to warn others about a product, even that is a struggle.

Remote start has clear instructions and saved a lot of time for the bf. With his upgraded motor, his truck needed time to warm up and this helped so much.
