This alarm was a great value I assumed I would only be able to use the key pad that came with the system. When I came to pick up my wife’s 2014 Honda Accord I was told I could also use the factory key by pressing the lock button 3 times . This is extremely convenient one lest thing to add to my wife’s key ring

Great product but having to restart my car sometimes is a pain and uses a lot of extra gas.

Initially, the system worked well - for three weeks. Then the system failed to work with the car key fob, although it did continue to work with the fob manufactured with the system. This was extremely disappointing and we returned the system.

My complaint is about Best Buy. I was a total tech member (cancelled now) this was a gift for my son, twice he scheduled an appointment to have it installed (bought it installation included) each time about a month in advance and each time they cancelled the appointment on him. Cancelled my total tech plan it’s basically worthless l, can’t get any help on the phone, can’t make a service appointment.

Best buy and its installation shop lied and decieved me. I drove from Austin, MN to the shop in Lacrosse, WI. for the installation of the remote starter. The incompetent worker ordered and sent the "basic," kit for my Chevy Equinox 2019. When I ordered the parts from Best Buy I was assured the correct parts for the installation were going to be at the shop in LaCrosse. I spent all day, missed a day of work, an cost of fuel to find out that the shop didn't have the correct parts. I'm so mad that I lost my day plus didn't get my remote starter. The installer further disclosed that this kit could be installed but it certainly will cause electrical issues.It was so frustrating with no solution that I simply canceled the order. I still deserve a remote starter. Surely I'm willing to cover the expense I just hoped Best Buy could've helped me. Please reach out to me Best Buy.

Still waiting to get it installed so I really can't say. Installment dates are so far out, it's not funny anymore.

The 1 star rating is for Best Buy, not the remote starter. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter for her '19 Jetta, with installation included. Got a call today from Best Buy installation. They don't do a lot of installs on European cars, are not comfortable doing this and told me they usually don't work. The guy told me that I had to use one of the key fobs as part of the installation (i.e. I lose a fob as they have to hard wire it to the car as part of the installation). I was not told about this when I bought the starter. If the sales associate had been trained properly, I would never had made the purchase. At least the installer was up front with me. Too bad it was a month after I bought the product. Hope this helps others to ask the right questions.

It’s hard to Review my purchase because of poor service from the Geek Squad. It has not been installed as of today 2/18/22. I purchased it in 11/21. The starter may be excellent but I have no idea at this point in time.

I have not had my remote installed yet. My apt. is for 02/03/2021 at 2:15pm.

Purchased as a Christmas gift. Earliest install date I could get was 1/31/2020.

It is good but doesn't have everything together. Needs to buy t harness kit.

Purchase and item was nice. Install was a pain. Had to drive an hour away to get it installed. They locked the vehicle in the garage. They called and said it was done but didn't say they were closing soon. I had to pitch a fit to get my car back.

Range is limited but that’s why you pay less. Enough for what I need most of the time

Bought this so that I could cool my car before getting to it while being in the store/work/home and it won't turn it on unless I'm already outside and about to get in. I went to the Geek Squad and they suggested a change of batteries, but no luck. It so bad that I got out of work a few days ago and I was looking at it as I walked out the door, looked down to press the button and kept walking towards it because I wasn't sure if it turned on, and it was NOT on. In combination with this Texas heat, this is absolutely infuriating at the moment, every time it happens.

Runs for only 15 minutes, in Minnesota that does not work welll with -30 degrees

There’s a lot of time where it doesn’t turn 100’ ft away and I’m standing at my window looking at my car. Also it tends to stop working at least twice a week ( when I try to turn it on the lights blink 3 times)

Its not how I expected because I asked b4 I purchase this item if i would get 2 remote control and they say yes but after the installation they only gave me 1 remote control and I'm not happy about it
