In the first week in December I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. It was scheduled to be installed first week in January, then the installation was pushed back 2 weeks by Best Buy… that appointment got postponed by Best Buy… now I”m not scheduled until Feb 28… I understand we have a pandemic but it is frustrating when this was supposed to be a Christmas gift.

This product messed up the electronics in my car. My brake lights went out (popped a fuse) my turn signal no longer has power on the right side, my key fab no longer unlocks my back doors and trunk. This product caused hundreds of dollars in damage. Very upset. I had the product removed from my car and now have to get all the other stuff fixed. I wish I never bought this product.

Sometimes takes 3-4 times to actually start. Maybe i expected a little more for what i paid i guess.

It works but the range is much less than advertised. Sometimes we have problems from inside our home less than 50 feet away.

Well, the idea was very interesting to turn on my car to warm up during the winter before driving . However, the distance to turn it on is not as advertised, additionally if there is one or 2 doors then it does not send the signal at all. I think it was a complete waste of my money.

Stay away, BestBuy is the problem, they make it impossible to get them installed. Purchased it for a Christmas gift, they cancelled my install appointment and moved it back to March without even a phone call. Purchased the unit in November, couldnt get it installed until March. Joke!

I purchased this after entering my vehicle info. When I went to get it installed I was informed that my car needed a much more expensive model. I have a Volkswagen Jetta, if you have something different then it may work for you.

Purchased on 11/27. I have been trying to schedule an appointment to install since that date. Finally was transferred to the service department and told they didn't have an installation team that could install the remote. They suggested I return for a refund.

Stopped working entirely after 13 months. Won't remote start or lock/unlock my vehicle. Tried calling Best Buy numerous times to work out a way to get it fixed and spent 4+ hours on hold after being transferred to literally 3 different departments. Nightmare product and company to deal with.

if it wasn't for the kokomo store in Indiana ordering the correct parts I wouldn't be getting a remote starter for my car they had to reorder entire set up for my car lafayette rd sore in indpls didn't have a clue what I needed so it was a wasted 2 hour trip to kokomo but guy there reordered everything I needed and I will go back and get it installed jan 2 another 4 hour trip but worth it at least he knows what hes doing

Remote interferes with my car remote. Nice remote but the car now shows a problem

Make sure you check if it’s compatible with your car before buying. There’s a website. You put your car info in and it lets you know if this will be able to work with your car. I had a 2017 BMW 320i and let’s just say I was upset going back to the store to make a return.

Overall the remote start is ok. The negative is they had to destroy my back up key fob for the installation. This is very unprofessional and doesn't tell customers this. I had already paid for the service, but not aware that they were destroying my 2nd key fob to install the remote start. BUYERS BEWARE

Don't buy this. Range is far far far less than advertised. I've stared at my car 50 ft away in an open parking lot and had it fail to start. New installation, new fob battery. I have to look out the window from my house and ensure it starts parked on the street while in the living room. Small yard.

It works, but man you need to be close to the car to start it.

I ended up changing my mind and didn't get it because those some complications with my car

Not a clean installation. Unit is visible, glued to the windshield.

bought it went in to get installed could not install had to wait another 6 weeks to go back and DOESN'T WORK! This is ridiculous now I have to wait another 6 weeks to have them try and fix it

Bought 2. All good with one, but other worked great for a month and now nothing. Took it in to get it fixed and it worked, but had quit again by the tie I got home. What a pain! Difficult to get an appointment to talk to a person- LONG wait times on hold. Goin back and forth for repair is a huge nuisance.

We have to be right by the car for it to start and half the time it doesn’t work
