If you work all night and your truck is outside...then you need a remote starter. BEST BUY had this starter for a BEST price and included BEST BUY installation. I did have to wait for a installation appointment, but a few weeks later it was installed by the BEST BUY crew, They did a fantastic job, walked me thru the remote starter and it works GREAT. Don't go anywhere else. GET THIS STARTER AT BEST BUY!!!

Bought this for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was compatabile and its so nice not to have to go out to a cold car on winter mornings

We've been very happy with the use of the remote start for our vehicle. From day one it worked smoothly with no issues at all. The ability to use the factory remote fobs also is a plus. But also since the vehicle is keyless we need the factory fobs on us in order to drive so we do not use the remote that was included in the package. We highly recommend this product. We plan on getting installed in our other vehicle too.

Works well at home and in rural areas-- decent range. Downtown the range sucks, probably due to buildings/construction. I wish I would've gotten the start from phone feature. Working with Best Buy for install was great, they were very professional and efficient. No visible wear on car from installation. FYI, the receiver is attached with adhesive to the front left of windshield. It is small and fine, but I didn't expect that.

I highly recommend this product. I keep my car outside of my garage and am able to start my car everyday to warm it up.

Reason why I gave 4 stars only because I upgraded it to a longer range and 2 way FM remote fob kit for additional $99. Buy a different but the FM ones if you're looking for better range and 2 way.

The unit ( remote starter) works beautifully for my needs. In the cold weather, the car is warmed up upon entering and in the summer, I hope to have the car cooled inside with the air conditioning working before I enter the car. The Geek Squad installation was fine and professionally done. The Compustar Co. should, however, provide a simple instructional "how to use" even though the Geek Squad staff installer gives verbal instructions after the installation.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter and installed on February 16, 2022. She states that it works great (note: she has only used it for 11 days now). The only downside is that it only comes with 1 remote, wished there were 2. The only problem that we ran into was the installation, Best Buy called and cancelled the original appointment only and the next available appointment was 3 months later. Since this was not acceptable, we were to schedule an appointment at another Best Buy a month later.

Very simplistic, one button fob, easy to use, does just what it needs to do ... start your vehicle! My car fobs were programmed as well. I just hope it lasts.

This remote start works great. The Best Buy technician was very knowledgeable and explained everything. He had the system installed in less than 1 hour and I was on my way home. This remote start can be programmed to a factory car remote so you don’t have to carry 2 remotes. I am very happy with this purchase and it was priced very well with free installation including all harnesses and adapters.

Remote starter was installed just a year and a half ago. Recently, the remote itself will not lock or unlock the doors but it does start my vehicle. Went through all of the trouble shooting steps found online and suggested by the company but nothing worked. Tried to reach out to the store that installed the product but every time I am transferred to the technicians who installed it, I receive a message stating that they are not subscribed to voicemail and then I am disconnected. Very frustrating.

Working perfectly fine and got it installed through geek squad , nicely done and well engineered for no issues.

The guys at the Kenosha Install sight where fantastic....Got everything installed and explained to me how it worked....Tony was the tech that worked on my suv......Great guy!!! My only gripe....could you set up a lounge area for auto customers to wait....I felt I was in the way sitting near the GEEK SQUAD area...juat a suggestion

Love this Device worth the sale not full price. LuckilyBestBuy was willing to install it for free unfortunately it was close to a 2 month wait for an apointment. The device works well with the constant pressing. You will have to buy a harness kit along with this device so prepare to put another 40 down to install it. But it is worth it when you want to have AC or Warmth by the time you enter the car or just want to warm it up before hand.

this is a very good remote start. make sure to add service piece in your car when you are buying this so that way your t harness and switch is also included for free. you will also be able to schedule your appointment during purchase. Bestbuy was able to program both of my car remotes to start the vehicle so i dont have to carry the extra fob with me. its a nice touch.

The car starter has worked well. The light up buttons on the starter let you know when you have successfully started the car. The automatic shut off is great too. I forgot that I had started it one day just to let it warm up after a very cold couple of days. Remembered 5 hours later, but it turns off after 25 minutes.
