This was a gift. My husband loves it. Warms his truck up. He has an older truck so he needs to leave the settings where he wants them for the next morning. Even if he doesn't, the engine is warm so defrosting and heating the inside only takes a minute.

this is a life saver living in minnesota and being able to remote start my vehicle without the hassle of sitting in it for 10 minutes or more to get warm. it also has it automatically locked and requires my key to go... so no concerns about having it stolen.

Was pretty upset with this purchase but not because there is anything wrong with the actual device, just because it ended up not working completely with my car and working the heat - ac part. It just started my car and thats it. I still give it 5 stars cause it wasn’t device, just my car.

Sometimes I have to leave for work early in the morning or work the late shift and it’s so nice to be able to start the car from inside. I have a 2008 Scion XD, and if you dread going out to a cold car like I do then you’ll love this. The remote also allows you to lock and unlock the doors. No more frosty car for me!

Very pleased with installation and product. Remote has good range and can start car from where I live on the 3rd floor. Simple one button remote, might upgrade remote in the future. Also with the installation, I am still able to use my current key fob to start car as well.

Purchased for a senior citizen who has trouble going out to start the car all the time. This did the trick. It has 3 buttons (lock, unlock, start) So simple and easy to use for an 87 year old. Works perfectly

When asking for a review - it's really annoying to be told exactly how much should be said and typed and give all sorts of other information.

We were excited to get this for our 2013 Chrysler 200. The reviews were good, so I decided to purchase it. It was installed at Chesterfield location took about 2 1/2 hrs. As expected. The tech who installed was good at explaining the operation of it. After about 2 weeks though a problem came up. The brake light would stay on after the car was parked and shut off. The remote starter would not work when this happened. I looked under where the brake pedal is and it appeared like a switch wasn’t right. When I pushed against it the brake light would go off. I ended up wrapping electrical tape around it to keep the brake lights off. The remote starter would then work. Now I am trying to get the car back in to have this issue fixed. So far this has been challenging. It’s hard to get a hold of the store by phone I finally did yesterday was supposed to get a call back from the store to set up a time to get the car back in and so far have not heard back. This is not acceptable after only having it on the car for a few weeks.

So far i have no issues with this remote starter. It gets me warm when coming into the car. I wish i got this installed before i was cold freezing waiting for my car to warmed up but thanks to compustar. I'm no longer cold especially going to work. :-)

I have an 2008 Acura MDX and wanted to be able to warm up my vehicle during the winter months. It especially came in handy when it sat in the parking lot at work all day getting frozen. 10 minutes before work ended I could remote start my vehicle from my office and come out to a warm car. I loved it.
