The starter works, can't tell if it actually work from 1500 feet, the remote is a 1 button multi control, do not like it. You have to hold it for 3 seconds, supposedly to start, but it has to lock, unlock, the start. IRRITATING

Works great! Exactly as expected and a decent price! The geek squad installed it for me and i havent had any issues at all.

Best Buy installed this remote starter kit on my husbands truck. It was a surprise for Christmas , they did the installation and hid the wires so it was not visible. They explained everything in detail . They are awesome. Thanks

System works as described. When you open the passenger first the system will shut down, this might be by design. Other than that works very good.

Only issue is that sometimes when I use the fob to unlock my car doors, it will sometimes unlock the trunk too. In order to unlock the trunk, I have to press the button twice, on my fob, to unlock the doors, and wait 2 seconds and then press the same button twice to unlock the doors/trunk. So it unlocks the doors twice just to unlock the trunk. There's no separate button for just the trunk release. Its really irritating when I simply press it twice just to unlock my doors and I get in my car and buckle up and then notice that my light indicator shows that a door is open, I have to get out of my car to open the trunk to shut it. Not fun to do in bad weather. It accidentally opens the trunk about twice a week. I do like how distant the key fob can go in order to activate the remote start. My front door to my home can be closed and my key fob will still work, turning on my car.

Worked great! I got it as a Christmas present for my moms car.

I purchased this remote starter with the upgrade option for my daughters SUV. She relocated to Ohio and the winter weather is harsh. She is able to start the SUV remotely from her cell phone to heat the vehicule before she gets in.

The remote start works well! The issue we had is I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas gift and during the purchase I was informed that the installation bay was no longer active in the St. Matthews store. The sales rep set up an installation appointment at the Outerloop store. My daughter took time off work to attend the install appointment and upon arrival was told that she did not have an appointment and that it had been cancelled by Best Buy corporate. Despite having our printed paper confirmation from the St. Matthews store, they could not get us in that day after they had cancelled our appointment. Eventually after we had set another date to come back and my daughter left the store, we received a call that an appointment had opened that day. So, the product, yes! Works well.... Customer Service and installation, not so great and a bit frustrating. I suggest calling the day before the installation to make sure they haven’t cancelled your appointment.

The remote start was definitely worth it as it saves you time from the hot and cold but also allows you start your car from a good distance away. Comes with a second key and haven’t had any problems with it yet. Would recommend.

I purchased this for my daughter who lives in an apartment on the 3rd floor. It works great! She loves getting into a warm car and was very pleased with the installation service at Best Buy. I took 1 hour for installation.
