Not what I expected and doesn’t work as well as described

Don’t know . Wasn’t able to schedule an install till the end of January.. grrrr

Just okay for the price, doesn't work 100 prcent of the time.

bought a remote starter for car 12/22/23, made appointment for 2/25/24 for install, get a notice 2/10/24 that its been canceled, tried to contact the store and guess what ? they don't answer the phone at the store. what's with that. went to store 2/25/24 and canceled the order. they told me the store does not receive incoming calls since covid. no more business for best buy. two trips to the store 160 miles for what. tried prior to get one from chicopee store and they said that they are finishing the installs they have booked and are not doing them any more . some service !

Unfortunately, from my situation, it was causing a slow battery drain which drain my battery dead every two days 

Car remote took hours longer to do than reported. I was stuck at the store. The installer was nice and I appreciate that. The waiting room was awful ice cold set up no heat nothing warm to drink door locked restroom on other side of door hard plastic ice cold chairs Worst waste of my time. I live an hour away so I was stuck there. Miserable experience. I did call to talk to customer service about it. Sorry was all I got. NOT GOOD ENOUGH SORRY

Just be nice if you guys would have had a tech to hook it up

Have tried to call in a few times between me and or my wife and we constantly get nothing but attitude from phone associates. Had I known this is how we were going to be treated I wouldn’t have done business again with Best Buy, and no one with a brain can answer our questions about this remote starter we purchased

Remote start is not working. I need to take it back for repair

So as it turns out even though this remote key is compatible with the truck it was programmed to, the vehicle turns off after you open the driver door when your turn the push start on.

Had installed on one vehicle so I bought it for another and directly after the installation the vehicle has been in the shop. Straight from Best Buy to the mechanic. Even on the first vehicle I realize when I use the remote start it sets the security system off and unless I don’t want to drive with the security light on I have to cut off once I get in the vehicle and restart with the key.

Will never purchase anything from Best buy ever again!

Poor communication between sales reps and technicians who install. Huge hassle to get an appointment to install. Lack of knowledge by sales force and even management. Very arrogant sale technician. I refunded entire purchase and will have independently owned experts do the job.

I purchased this for my son's 2012 Ford Focus. We were told by installers that it would work with the factory key fob. It does not. We tried to use the lock and unlock feature advertised and it also does not work with Ford cars. If you have a Ford do not buy!!!!

When it’s too cold it doesn’t start my car at all I hate this

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had buying anything. Bought this item in December as a Christmas gift and here it is April and still not installed. Did get a refund but it’s been horrible

Best Buy (app) sold this to me after asking for my make and model. After waiting a month for installation, I took a half day PTO and went to BB. When I arrived, I was told: 1. they don’t recommend installs on VWs. 2. the BB app didn’t include a required harness essential to installation and they didn’t have one in stock and 3. Even if i had a harness, i would have to sacrifice a $300 key fob to install. This was a total fail and has shaken my confidence in Best Buy.
