Best Buy technicians ruined the installation and I hate I gave them my business

Spent money on a product that and they refused to install it

First off, your policy of routing all calls to some call center where one person out of 100 MIGHT be able to help you REALLY SUCKS!!!!! Second, i had a remote start installed in my 2008 F350 that i cant even use because it DOES NOT DELAY before starting. I used for many many starts in very cold temperatures. One morning I went out to just see how it was starting. With a diesel engine IT IS VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO JUST START THE ENGINE IN COLD TEMPERATURES! Well the remote was letting my truck just start up without any delay. Before installation i personally talked with the techs and they assured me it would perform correctly. I don't know at this time if any damage occurred due to this issue, but my truck IS ACTING DIFFERENTLY THAN IT WAS BEFORE INSTALLATION.

Purchased product because installation was included, but scheduling an installation has been horrible. We have been trying to schedule one for 3 weeks with no luck. Unable to talk directly to anyone at a store, all calls go to a call center nowhere near our region.

Coffee star remote start works as it should very pleased with the quality of it. Also, the installation of it by Best Buy installation crew very tremendous job well done.

The remote doesnt always work, and now that it has been installed , sometimes when I lock my car with my keyfob, it starts my can......

The product was designed great and perfect for the price and quality also for safety of my vehicle, works perfectly

Bought this as a gift, to have installed before the cold and before Christmas. Found out after we bought the remote start that there were no open dates for install until March of 2023. Needless to say I returned both of them and went elsewhere

Works well, starts the car in the mornings. Must leave car heat on high night before if you want it to start in heat.

Dont know the actual quality of the item because with all the people i talked to they left out the fact that to program this to my car i needed to have two keys which I dont.

Despite the fact that there were changes to my service and the customer service number wouldn’t allow me to talk to the store directly, it was the installers in Middletown, NY that went above and beyond to reach out to me and make my experience great.

Very happy with the Compustar Remote Starter. Very easy to use and the installation was great. No more going out in the cold morning to start my car. A push of a button and my car starts right up.

Driving in the winter is so much easier now! The mechanic who installed it was also very knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve had no issues with this remote starter.

The only thing that bothered me was that the technician was fooling with the seat adjustment to move the car less than 50 feet, the radio and the thermostat was also tampered with and there was no justification for that. I have made this complaint in the past but the quality of the work and the equipment is great and I was happy with the technician showing me how the equipment functions

Works as advertised. Installation took a very long time - apparently Subarus are tricky. Needed an additional harness that I had to order. 2006 Subaru forester. Disables factory alarm if you use this fob. Alarm goes off if you try to mix remotes. So just use the Compustar remote all the time.

Long distance range of a wopping 20 feet when lucky, absolutely garbage!

Customer service upon installation was perfect. Great staff and very knowledgeable. Installation was completed quickly and on time. No complaints and would purchase again if needed.

Installed 11/2022...ive had this installed at the Altoona Best Buy about 2 hears ago. Works great...never evwn changed rhe remote battery yet. Hifhly recommend this product. Wiring harness came by FedEx a few days earlier...mafe the appointment and boom...it was professionally installes.
