A Major Design Flaw
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you ever lose power in the vehicle (i.e. dead battery or disconnected battery) Compustar's remote start module loses all functionality except for the remote start. This means you lose control of door locks, trunk release, aux functions, etc. It will only function again if you take it back to Best Buy or an authorized installer to reprogram the module. Geek Squad installer confirmed the module has to be reprogrammed every time it loses power from your car battery. I've done it couple of times and then I got fed up with it...

TECH DONT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL

(2023 toyota tacoma) Waited 2 weeks for this appointment. Waste time and money. Couldnt even leave a voicemail to tell me ahead of time.

Best Buy support, stay away
