.I think this product is a good and very helpful during winter. Number of years we don't have this installed in our car. I remember lot of times me and my family get into car freezing temp without starting car. Sometimes our car won't heat untill we reach home and now when I think technology like remote start helps car to heat very well

This CompuStar 4905-S replaces an older CompuStar in our daughter's 2009 Subaru Forester and it works perfectly. The key fob is sturdy and not too big (like the key fob it replaced.) Range is solid and she has no trouble starting her car from inside the house or her school or work. Installation at the Anchorage Best Buy is really what I want to talk about: the installer was so courteous, professional, fast, and extremely helpful with showing us how to sue the new tech. Kudos to this Lone Ranger who was the only tech working in their auto bays that day!

No complain works really good installation went smooth definitely recommend this model for any person looking for a good remote start.

After so much research and personal recommendations from my brother, I purchased and couldn’t be more happy and also felt like I should have installed it earlier. Winters are harsh in Chicago and this does helps a lot. On the down side, my car mileage have gone down but it gave me a convenience of having my car warm every time I hop on in the early AM. I live in an apprtment on the 4th floor, and car parked in enclosed garage, it does work most of the time. You cannot expect in closed garage and high rise apartment to work smoothly every single time, but I am still very happy with it and definitely would recommend it. Best buy car guy was awesome, took him less than an hr to install it.

Unfortunately, despite the website and Geek Squad techs confirming this should work on my car PRIOR to install, it ultimately did not. The installation tech was very thorough and helpful - even taking the car in two whole days to look it over. Apparently the immobilizer and Nissan security are just not compatible. In the end, he had to resort to bypassing an immobilizer feature just to get the starter to turn the car on. The car’s climate control doesn’t work after a remote start, and also the ignition won’t turn. So after a remote start, getting in the car, you can’t turn on the ignition and start driving. You have to turn the car OFF before turning the ignition on to drive. Really defeats the purpose or a remote “start”. Also no climate control while on the “remote start” is a bummer so you can’t adjust any of the heat/AC. One of the reasons we got this is that we loved (on our other cars) the feature of being able to park, keep the car running on the remote start (not driveable) but letting the engine and air/heat run. But you can’t even do that. I feel like we threw away a bunch of money on this. Wish they would refund me since it was falsely advertised as working with my car.

This has to be the best feature i can add to my car the original remote has a terrible range but the new one is like 3000ft also i like tge ability to not only remote start but say its cold and you wanna go inside of a store real quick tgen you can remote start tge car while its running then take the key out of the ignition abd itll stay on

i work in a rather large steel building where typically remote car starter signals do not get signal. But this remote starts my car from my work area. (everyone else has to go to a door to start theirs). i am impressed with the range. only using it for a month now, but zero issues so far. very pleased

Works well, good price, overall good product and quality

Best Buy installed this system on my 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Duramax Diesel. I am satisfied. Good range. On hot or cold days I start the truck from my office. By the time I walk to my truck, it is cooled off or warmed ready to roll. Additionally, I can exit and lock the vehicle while running to keep the cab cool. Even if someone broke in, as soon as the thief touches the brake pedal the engine will quit! I'm putting this unit in my wife's Kia Sorento SXL.

I have purchased two of these units at Bestbuy and love them. Bestbuy technician installed in my 2009 toyota camry and 2014 toyota sienna with no issues at all. I've tested them from 500 meters away, and worked every time! It's been already 2 months of use and no issues at all. Highly recommend!

No issues with the system yet! Has held up quite well and works every time we’ve asked for it to work from the remote! It’s been several years at this point, so how could I possibly complain

This was a great addition to my F150. My old remote start system for for was not functioning correctly anymore. I bought this product on sale. I works very well. I can start my truck while I am at work in the winter. I work in a building with multiple layers of thick brick and my truck still starts.

I purchased this as a Xmas gift for my husbands car. He said he loves it and the range is amazing. I think his car starter works better than mine. Hands down the best gift. Installation was also a piece of cake with Best Buy. I would highly recommend this product to my friends and family.

The remote start does everything I wanted it to. Easy to operate, and works great! The tech installers at Best Buy were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Their instructions on how to use the system were top notch. I highly recommend them!

this was an excellent buy for me, for i do live in a cold weather area, and im able to start my truck from just about anywhere in a 3000 foot range. its nice to get into a warm truck to drive to work or home without having to go outside to start it...
