Second time I install this device in my car and works amazing

Has good range. Not the best model but at half off on deal of the day in which includes free installation and hardware. You can’t beat that. Easy to use. Only time will tell as far as longevity and reliability

I purchased this on black Friday to try out on my truck and my only regret is I didn't buy one for my SUV! This thing works amazingly. BB did the install in a couple of hours and everything turned out perfectly.

Had to wait a month to get it installed. Installation was pretty quick maybe 1-1.5h. The remote starter works great, even starts when we are inside the mall. Took us a while to figure it out but you can’t use the lock and unlock buttons UNLESS you start up your car first. So it wasn’t locking if your car turned off and etc. Kind of scary because the remote will say you locked the car but you didn’t. Sort of annoying because we still have to use the original remote as well as the remote starter just to unlock/lock the car even though the remote starter has all the buttons

I just had this installed a few days ago and i love it! Its easy to use and has amazing range/ distance. I can't see my car from my apartment but it still works from inside and through multiple walls and obstacles. Its been nice to know my car has started with out having to listen for it. Now I can stay warm and have peace of mind knowing my car is warming up. Also the service technicians that installed it were professional, kind, and knowledgable. 100% recommend.

Purchased this remote start kit from Best Buy which included installation on Black Friday. They had a great price and the product works perfectly.

Had some issues with this unit pairing with my factory alarm on my Kia Optima SXL but they finally got it straightened out and all is well. Has great range and the 2 way remote helps when your not in eyesight of vehicle and it notifies you of startup and status of vehicle during remote start. Would recommend but get it on sale, I got mine for $229.

I been holding off on buying this for a couple of years now and i regret not buying it sooner. It has been super convenient. Esp on cold days. I was worried on auto starting my car incase of theft but luckily the doors are locked until you unlock them. Your car wont even go until the key is put in so thats makes me worry less incase someone qas to break in while its on. Heada up, if youre due for a new car battery this will drain it. I was already needing a new one so my auto remote stopped working. Now that i got a new car jattery it works perfectly fine again.

No issues with the system yet! Has held up quite well and works every time we’ve asked for it to work from the remote! It’s been several years at this point, so how could I possibly complain

Love having this installed in my car. It's so nice to let my car warm on cold mornings without having to go outside and start it myself. Nice having two remotes if needed. Works great. Installation took about 1 1/2 hours.

Works great. Bought on sale and free install was offered at the time. Install was very easy to schedule and was done quickly. It only took about an hour. Very nice remote starter and good value.

I bought this to replace my starter that came with my car that didn't work 50% of the time, this thing is great, starts right away and the range is much further than my older one, love the ease and convenience of this thing.

Make sure you buy it in the store. We've purchased 2 of these for our other cars, and bought them in the store. Recently purchased a third one for a new car and thought it would save time and a 30 minute trip into the city, only to get a call the night before our scheduled install( i took a day off of work to get it installed quickly) only to be told there's another harness we need and they dont have any in stock in the entire Phoenix metro area. If you buy a stereo head unit online, it will show suggestions below in the cart for dash kits, harnesses, antenna adapters and everything you need for install, but not for remote starts! The installer agreed their website has always lacked that info, spunds like best buy doeant want to fix it either. 4 stars as product is great but ordering process needs improvement.

I have had this for about a month. I wish I did it sooner. the price was excellent with installation and it is so easy to use. I love that i get confirmation that my vehicle started. 2010 Toyota 4runner

Unfortunately, despite the website and Geek Squad techs confirming this should work on my car PRIOR to install, it ultimately did not. The installation tech was very thorough and helpful - even taking the car in two whole days to look it over. Apparently the immobilizer and Nissan security are just not compatible. In the end, he had to resort to bypassing an immobilizer feature just to get the starter to turn the car on. The car’s climate control doesn’t work after a remote start, and also the ignition won’t turn. So after a remote start, getting in the car, you can’t turn on the ignition and start driving. You have to turn the car OFF before turning the ignition on to drive. Really defeats the purpose or a remote “start”. Also no climate control while on the “remote start” is a bummer so you can’t adjust any of the heat/AC. One of the reasons we got this is that we loved (on our other cars) the feature of being able to park, keep the car running on the remote start (not driveable) but letting the engine and air/heat run. But you can’t even do that. I feel like we threw away a bunch of money on this. Wish they would refund me since it was falsely advertised as working with my car.

I am so excited to have found this remote start that works great for 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. I ordered this and made my appt with their geek Squad.It was installed free at Bestbuy! I had read on another review that it can work with the original Key that comes with the Jeep ( and it does! Another bonus), I don’t need to carry around the extra key fob. So far I’m Very happy I made this purchase. It was over $1000 Savings from what the dealership wanted to charge me to add remote start to my Jeep. Way to go… this was definitely a BestBuy!!

I bought the Compustar remote car starter for my daughter who lives in a college dorm. It is a brilliant solution for those who keep a car outside. On flat terrain, it starts the car over a quarter mile. Best Buy installation was quick and flawless.

Absolutely the best! This is the second set I’ve purchased from Best Buy, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m excited to get this one installed in my other car. Highly recommend!
