Excellent distance with the remote and limitless distance with the app. Able to see the battery level in the car, so might need to replace my battery before the winter. Love the app. There was one update that went out that the device had to be reset, I went back to best buy and they reset it but you can also remove the battery cable to reset as well for a minute.

Question the free installation. We ordered this online as " The Deal Of The Day" at a fair price. When we went to the store @ 78th And Dodge Street in Omaha to pick it up we asked again, Asked online in a Best Buy chat first, If the installation was included? At this point we were speaking to guest member and then ALEX The Manager? who also stated that " YES IT IS INCLUDED". My wife and I bought a new Television a couple other things and had to reschedule an appointment due to ? So, went to get it installed and then was told that there would be an additional charge for the installation. WHAT? And hence the drama started with Alex not remembering what he said! And then had the gall to tell me " We should have charged more for that". I firmly believe that if you tell someone something and may be a question about it " WRITE IT DOWN OR MAKE NOTES! and Don`t cover it up by saying "I DON`T REMEMBER SAYING THAT!" But the car starter is okay.

This probably one of the best purchase. The range on the remote is awesome. Intallation was done by BB, Said it was going to take 3 hrs, but only took him 1hr and 20 minutes. clean install and works great.

Does exactly what you think it does. You can start your car remotely and it will send back a confirmation to the remote/key fob. It will run for 15 minutes or so, I believe you can somehow add time but if it's super cold out I just check the key fob, and if it's not still blinking red then I just send another signal to restart the car. I've had it for a few months now and will probably buy these for every car I buy in the future. Includes installation too.

They installed it quickly and all looks neat and in order. While I haven't been able to use it much yet, the day will come and for the times that I have tested it, the range seems good.

I would have given this 5 stars, but knocked off a star for BB overall customer service. The phone system is a nightmare, and getting any kind of real help or compensation is nonexistent. It's a good thing they "stand by their work and products", but that isn't of much help when they screw up in any way, and it costs you time and money (other reviewers have said the same). As far as the product goes, I haven't really put the remote start to the test by challenging it from a distance, but it works well, as expected. There were a couple of things I had to get used to that were different than my other remote start- like a slow double click to unlock all the doors, for example. The installer, James did a great job on it, and was very kind and professional.

Stopped working after four months. We had to wait two weeks to get a new one installed.

This is my first time to have remore starter , work well in my car , and easy to control , i might get the another set mr my truck too . Love it

This is the second time I’m using the product. Works the way it should. No complains. Installation at Best Buy was a breeze.

I’m very happy when Best Buy stalled in my vehicle it’s very good I don’t wanna go out there in cold weather and wait started in your own nice warm house. It tells you when it’s on when it’s low it beeps again then you could do it second time and I know when I get out there is my car will be toasty warm.
