Works great. Even goes across my back yard, and my work parking lot. Super easy to use.

Somewhat of a learning curve regarding the sequence to disarm and actually drive off in my Kia Niro, but it works great once you get the hang of it. Winters coming! Get ready. Plus, I upgraded it, to a longer range two way, even more then a learning curve and found it has been discontinued and no online manual. Cannot figure out menu without just randomly hitting buttons. Best Buy installs upgrades for free though.

Just had this installed on my 2006 Sienna van. Works great. I combined this with the four button remote add on kit and I had the motorized side door connected to the hatch release on the add on remote. The only function I lost was the panic button which I never used anyway. I can't say how the single button remote works with this unit, but the add on remote has a fantastic range. The Original Toyota Key fob still works with the system but I don't even carry it.

The ONLY reason I'm not giving this a 5 star review is that I would like to see a scheduled, hands off approach to starting my vehicle. For example, if I want to start the truck at 7 AM, Monday - Friday, I'd like the app to do that. Other than that, this product is flawless! Perfect installation by the Geek Squad, and does everything I want it to do. Even starts my truck in an underground parking garage!!

Install is fast and easy, great range, easy to use

I bought this device along with a 2-way LED remote which has about 1-mile range. I really like the remote starter that does its primary job very well. The 2-way remote, though it says 1-mile range, may not work well when you are inside a building (like big malls not your house). I have the remote starter for over a month now and it works well.

This Compustar remote start system works great with my 2013 Acura. It is only 800ft 1-way transmission but using the DroneMobile add-on I can use the app to start the car from anywhere in the world and receive start confirmation. The only downside is that my Acura has a push-to-start system so the car shuts off and I have to restart it as soon as I unlock the doors to enter.

Had installed on my 2002 Ford Escape. Love the simplicity of the single button and the fact that it gives a visual indicator to let you know the receiver is responding to the signal to start. Only drawback is that after starting the vehicle using the remote start, the factory remote will not unlock the door and the key must be used instead.

I had acquired a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a good price to fix up. ( lift kit, big wheels, off road stuff.) The winters here in Ohio can get cold, so found this remote starter from Best Buy. The cost was right and included installation so why not. Now I can enter a nice warm vehicle on those cold winter days without worrying about it being stolen. ( doors remain locked and even if someone got in, you can’t drive away without the key, the vehicle shuts down.) I like the one button remote, and it does work from a good distance as stated. The only reason I gave this four stars is because it doesn’t turn on the headlights when the vehicle starts like some others do. ( a good thing to have at night.) but I guess for the price it’s still worth it.

Great remote start. I've had it a few months now love it so far. got it just be for winter and I'm glad I did. I would recommend getting the upgraded 2 way 2500 foot remote witch i did a really love it lets you know your car started from in the store/house or work without see it.

I bought this remote start for my grandmother who had trouble turning over her key and was tired of getting into a cold vehicle. She absolutely loves it and would be lost without it. She doesn’t know how she managed prior to having this installed!

I always wanted a car starter given that I live in a cold weather state. Never heard of CompuStar until Max at the Bethlehem PA store recommended it. I went with it and he installed it and, as usual, did a great job. Love it!

Bought this for my 90 year-old father - easy to learn to use, great range, starts every time (even in freezing temps).

So glad I got this! My winters are so much better. Ice is melted off windows and don’t need heated seats now! Got the upgrade and start it from inside my work. I park probably 120 yards away from building!! Ned to get a new battery in remote every year when using far away. Went to battery plus and got the lifetime deal. Did have to go back and get an adjustment after a week, but fine every since!!

My wife wanted a remote start on our 2010 Honda Accord. The guys at the geek squad got me set up and scheduled and it works great. Paid much less than what the dealer quoted me - almost half!
