The system works OK but the range is no where near 800 feet. Sometimes it wouldn't work at 20 feet away in a parking lot. If you cant see your car then you have no guarantee that it actually started which 50% of the time it didn't on the first try. I did notice it was better if I held my arm up in the air while pushing the button. Since I got the upgraded 2 way remote I haven't had it fail at all. There is something really nice about getting into a warm car when its only 20 degrees outside so I still think its worth the price, just get the 2 way remote!
