Looked up this particular hair dryer for any recalls. Infiniti Pro by Conair™ Hair Dryer (259/279 Series) was recalled and the #'s were the same as the dryer I recently purchased. Thus, returned it for a refund and gave them the recall notice that matched the dryer. Until the arcing was noticed, I loved the dryer, but would not keep because of a fire hazard, esp. with arcing. Best Buy was great abt the return, and are sending it in b/c of the recall.

I love the choice of settings and the accessories. I don't know what ionic technologies is but I do see a reduction in frizziness!

I could never get it completely smooth without also using a curling iron, but since using this dryer, the curling iron is gathering dust!
