    Really a 2.5. It isn’t altogether a bad dryer. But the dryer blows WAY too hard even on low. Like it literally tangles my hair in the drying process, no matter how tangle-free my hair was to start with, and creates little rats nests that are tough and painful to brush out. Following the instruction booklet recommendations, I use low power and warm heat settings for my hair type. If the “low” fan speed wasn’t so strong I don’t think I would have the tangling issues. The high fan setting is a wind tunnel. But, like the description says, the AC motor doesn’t lose or gain strength with the change of heat. And the warm setting is plenty hot. Hot temperature setting is REALLY hot. The finished product IS smooth, frizz-free hair. But the drying time compared to other dryers isn’t significantly different. And the tangles actually make drying my hair much more frustrating. It delivers desired results, but I will be returning/exchanging it for a different dryer because the knots it puts in my hair are damaging and too much of an inconvenience.
